ya thats what i was thinking im gonna bring it to my audio shop today for them to have a look at it and test it before i have them send it out. Theres many possiblities which i seem to be running into like my head unit having a bad neg rca which i apparently found out happends sometimes to pioneers.

ya i cant do that i dont want to void the warrentee. im hoping treo will cover it but idk since i just sent my sub there which by miracle they covered for one i wasnt the original owner. and the first owner was my stores manager and it just passed the warentee date when it got sent back. although they lie to help me out alot idk if treo will fix it since its the second thing il have sent back they might think i did something other than what i acually did. i cant afford to buy another 500 dollar amp

well if you could help me i wouldnt have to post this. im just unsure if treo will fix it since i just had to send my sub to them. and i dont really wanna have to send it to them since there in nebraska and im in ny it takes a week to ship each way plus the time for them to fix it. i couldnt understand how the amp could still be on with no remote wire in it

ok obviously you dont get my situation. at least im asking for help and not acting like i know it all. if you dont like it you dont have to respond. im sure if you were in the same situation you would be very upset. im only 19 and paid for all my stuff with cash and worked very hard for it. i just want to see all my hard work finally pay off since i have only heard the sub play once for a very short period.

because im trying to find out the problem. i think you would be to when this easy install has some how taken over 6 months and when i thought everything was fixed my sub blew 5 mins after installed with almost no gain turned on and sub had been broken in previously and now ive been waiting 4 weeks for treo to send the sub back and now since its supposed to be back this week i might have to wait agian so im looking for some insight becuase im tired of waiting and getting screwed and idk if treo will fix the amp since i just had to send back a subwoofer

so i have two treo rsx 1000.1 amps wired in master slave combo. i had rehooked them up today becuase the remote wires was not put in. they turned on fine and a few minutes later driving down the road i heard a poping sound and turned off my radio and went to go back and check the amps one was turned off and one was on. i ripped out the remote wire becuase i was afraid my amp was shot and the amp was still on. i then pulled out the power wire and it turned off. i smelled the second amp and smelled kinda weird. did i blow it? im hoping not becuase ive been waiting 4 weeks for treo to send back my sub and im hoping i dont have to wait another 4 weeks for my amp becuase im already running on 6 months on this project and im about to sell it all becuase its making me mad please give me some input of what you think

the solo x are good but require a big box, usually call for up to 10 cube feet. and he is right the resale value is not very good on the solo x, it really depends what you would like to do, although the solo x can take a good 4-5 k rms easy might not be worth it
