  1. The second link provided explains it quite easily.

"Bill change machines, also called bill changers, convert customers' paper money into coins so they can do such things as buy a snack, do the laundry or play video games. The customer inserts a bill into the machine by following the diagram on the machine. The ink used on money has a magnetic quality, and the machine uses a magnetic head to scan the bills to determine their authenticity and denomination. The machine then sends a signal to the coin mechanism to release the appropriate amount of coins, which are stored in a compartment called a hopper. The hopper then releases the coins, which fall down the chute and into the tray where the customer retrieves them."

..okay.. if that's the best I can get lol

  2. To be honest they are crap, not a fan of the modern day muscle, I prefer old muscle then todays junk (Just my opinion) , something i can still work on if there is something wrong.

Old cars are ugly, imho. And you don't get the features you do on new cars.

because they are slow.... they weigh wayyy to much and are slower than hell... i walk 6.0's all day in my 4.6 and i have time slips to prove it... yes they look nice... but when some young punk can pull up in a mustang that cost less than the gto and can produce more power walks you... you tend to not buy the car...

I love mustangs too, but these look good too imo... and different. I've never seen a gto except these two, but I see mustangs all the time.

I'd buy a 5.0 before I'd buy one of these, at least if I was buying new.. but if I had the money right now, I'd buy that g8 gt I said about earlier..UKnoitsMe said they dropped like $15k off the price.. that's like half price lol..

  3. Couldn't you just put a quarter (or however many it takes to make it work) in there, and leave the key in there (or leave it unlocked if you can).. When you want to use it (the washer) use it like you normally would if you didn't have a key (using the quarters) and then open up the box thing and get your quarters and put them in the slots for the next time you wish to use the washer :)

  4. Anybody know how they work? Not to be used for "bad" stuff, I'm just curious :)

Twice now I've put money into coin machines to get nothing... you'd think they'd make it so it spits your dollar (or whatever amount you put in) out if it's empty, like it does if it doesn't like the bill cause it's folded or whatever.

Also, I've seen one being filled before... the woman just dumped quarters into a big bin thing in it. Were the quarters counted? Maybe.. but they weren't rolled or anything, so how does the machine "count" them without messing up?
