Hey so I just got my truck back and i was told that durring the time the truck was in Havazu AZ that the batt's where discharging in about two weeks of not being used. So i have been looking for a good charging system to fully charge the batt's and keep them that way sin i really dont use the truck any more it stay's in the garage sleeping. Some times for months at a time. Well i found this charging system and maybe some one out there mite know more about it. The sr3 have's 3 6volt out put's that charge 3 batterys at the same time and haves a LED that show's the battery charging or charge for each battery. This unit can be monted on the vehicle and is water proof. All I have to do is run a few cables to each of my 3 battery's (1 XS D3100 in the front and 2 XS D6500 under the rear seat) and im able to just plug the unit into any outlet if im storing the truck. I was wondering if XS had warranty on there batt's. I have a dual alt set up from DC Eng a 260 SP and a 400SP. I was told this would be more than enough power for a single Sundown 4500D with the front battery being a D3100 and the rear having a pair of D6500. This truck is only used on the weekends and 5 out of 10 time's i need to jump start it. My old set up of Optima did the same but only after 3 years. But they where four yellow top's. Need some help or a person from XS to lead me on the right path,???? Do i take it back to DC Eng and tell them to service the batt's????? or do i take it up with XS???

I was thinking the same thing about the volts but keep in mind that i have a dual alt set up. a 260SP from DC Eng and a 400SP also from DC Eng. Rob and dave did all the set up in there shop and was told that would feel this amp with out any problem. I have a 3100XS batt in the front and apair of 6500 in the rear seat. I had the truck turn on so both alt where up and running. the Radio was not up at all.

Hey im looking for a place to send my Sundown 4500 for repairs. I had it up and running and after not using my truck for about a few weeks i turn it on and the amp went into protection. I check all the fuses and it was all good. So i turn the head unit off and back on and the amps turn on and smoke and was smoking non stop. So I pulled the power and ground off the amp and the light show started up the truck was running and the Eng was acting like it was going to turn off. So that is why i pulled the power cables. I know that something got f-up. I have not tried to turn it back on. I need to send it some where that they know these amp. All the shops around here want to buy it from me but are like no way, when it comes down to repairs. Please help me I need this fix asap before my Wedding, if not all my money also becomes hers and we all know what that means. No more spending on car Audio.

Yes that is what he did. I need to learn that when you what some thing done right the first time you need to do it your self or be there watching them do it. Live and learn. Thank you Rusty for the help and i will be posting some pict with some vid of the upcoming show in L.A if they dont steal my camera. DC Audio For life.
Side Note my lady is asking for a pink DC shirt or tang-top. Or a White Sweater with pink DC Audio logo. She's asking for too much!!!!!!!1

How can i get a hold of a glue re-cone kit for my lvl5 18". The spider came loose off the re-cone was done. They did not remove,the old glue, So the spider came loose and cause the leads to break. Maybe i can send it back to Rusty at DC Audio. Maybe they can also fix the leads and help send me new speaker terminals because the one i have broke off.Need input????????

Dammm no more pict of sub's with your lady? My chick flip with the one's of the 8". So I had to do some of my own but she took the memory card. These are great looking Mag's and do you know the running prices for them?

Same thing i had on my lvl5 18" but my speaker's where the old 2008 model. I also found that my amp needed to have a few thing's moved. My Subsonic needed to be turn down. The clipping of my Sundown 4500D did it. I did a new re-cone of the new 2011 cone's did it for me. Im up and running back at 150+ with only one amp and two 18". DC Audio haves the best customer serv hand's down. Im a DC member for life!

Im doing my DC Audio Lvl 5 18" right now and i ended up using the sand paper roller piece on my dremal kit. This thing work's great, all the way down to bear metal! Tape off the mag and used air in a can to blow the basket. Waiting on my RE-cone's from DC, special thanks to Anna and Rusty for the great service.

So I saw this at the last car show and will like a little feel back on this. So I was thinking of having a cool Banner made with A big DC Audio logo and having it sign by Rusty and a couple other member running Dc, with there Car make, model,# of sub's, sub size, highest score. Maybe too much info, or not. To have displayed on my hood of my truck durring show's and to have at the shop where we carry DC Sub's. If it's ok with Rusty

Great hey Rusty Thank you for ur time and all the info. How about the coil type do you carry Aluminum type with the lvl 6 flat leads. I'm been told that they can take a wipping. What can u recomend. dual 2ohm coil.s Can i do a lvl 6 re-cone on my lvl 5?????????????????

So u think using the Audio Control cross over will help clean thing's up. I loved the feeling when i first hit 151. but i have never been able to get that loud agent.
