Hey so I just got my truck back and i was told that durring the time the truck was in Havazu AZ that the batt's where discharging in about two weeks of not being used. So i have been looking for a good charging system to fully charge the batt's and keep them that way sin i really dont use the truck any more it stay's in the garage sleeping. Some times for months at a time. Well i found this charging system and maybe some one out there mite know more about it. The sr3 have's 3 6volt out put's that charge 3 batterys at the same time and haves a LED that show's the battery charging or charge for each battery. This unit can be monted on the vehicle and is water proof. All I have to do is run a few cables to each of my 3 battery's (1 XS D3100 in the front and 2 XS D6500 under the rear seat) and im able to just plug the unit into any outlet if im storing the truck. I was wondering if XS had warranty on there batt's. I have a dual alt set up from DC Eng a 260 SP and a 400SP. I was told this would be more than enough power for a single Sundown 4500D with the front battery being a D3100 and the rear having a pair of D6500. This truck is only used on the weekends and 5 out of 10 time's i need to jump start it. My old set up of Optima did the same but only after 3 years. But they where four yellow top's. Need some help or a person from XS to lead me on the right path,???? Do i take it back to DC Eng and tell them to service the batt's????? or do i take it up with XS???

I was thinking the same thing about the volts but keep in mind that i have a dual alt set up. a 260SP from DC Eng and a 400SP also from DC Eng. Rob and dave did all the set up in there shop and was told that would feel this amp with out any problem. I have a 3100XS batt in the front and apair of 6500 in the rear seat. I had the truck turn on so both alt where up and running. the Radio was not up at all.

Hey im looking for a place to send my Sundown 4500 for repairs. I had it up and running and after not using my truck for about a few weeks i turn it on and the amp went into protection. I check all the fuses and it was all good. So i turn the head unit off and back on and the amps turn on and smoke and was smoking non stop. So I pulled the power and ground off the amp and the light show started up the truck was running and the Eng was acting like it was going to turn off. So that is why i pulled the power cables. I know that something got f-up. I have not tried to turn it back on. I need to send it some where that they know these amp. All the shops around here want to buy it from me but are like no way, when it comes down to repairs. Please help me I need this fix asap before my Wedding, if not all my money also becomes hers and we all know what that means. No more spending on car Audio. Ulysses Mendoza

Yes that is what he did. I need to learn that when you what some thing done right the first time you need to do it your self or be there watching them do it. Live and learn. How can i get a hold of a glue re-cone kit for my lvl5 18". The spider came loose off the re-cone was done. They did not remove,the old glue, So the spider came loose and cause the leads to break. Maybe i can send it back to Rusty at DC Audio. Maybe they can also fix the leads and help send me new speaker terminals because the one i have broke off.Need input????????
