Positive is going in amps and co, damn you have 1300 post.
At last from negative to negative @ the batteries is the best ground, your backbattery is than chassisgrounded with the normal place from the
under the hood batt. If you want fit the groundplace of your hoodbatt, sanding + copperpaste on the place.
Perhaps I used the wrong term.. Still I tad confused neg to negative then positive to positive? I'm probably way off here.. Sorry if I'm speaking noob.

For 1300 post´s it sound real noob. Pos. to Pos. and Neg. to Neg. The Hoodbatterie is naturaly grounded threw the frame.

Some guy bought an escalade from cali and didn't want the system cuz of his kids. And he wanted everything gone besides the headunit cuz he was having new speakers put in. He wanted 750 for all and I knocked him down to 500. The systme consisted of:

Yes the AP 1500´s are small can doin over rated , AP APSM 1500 issmaller and doin rated. AP is known as a bang budget product for this,
but they get dirty (signals) if you use them on higher gains.

I want to get an AQ 1200 so I can fit it in the cubby hole in the back of my 4runner but it's taking me forever to find one around me or to be able to trade and stuff because my post count is to low on here. So I just wanted to know if there are other amps that are as strong as the Aq1200 and have the same or smaller dimensions that I am just over looking?

what if i ran all the original wiring and alt for the truck and then did a after market alt and wiring for the 16v?
Sorry 16 volts and up is no joke and not for noobs, if a professional installer install for you ok. What you post here is a shot in the dark, there is nothing to wire at 16 volts, its to charge @ those volts. Let it be, read in the forum a vew month and you will know whats to do.

Ok. I just wondered because most amps rms is half of there max and most speakers are too. Want to know is there any amps that there max is 3 times as much as there rms?
Yeah shit on the max ratings forever, the RMS rating is the fixpoint and the rest of doing is the knowledge.
