    Sundown is way better than Kicker first off...they are 600w rms so a 1200w amp would be ideal, they can handle more but play it safe...dual 4ohm for both subs to run your amp at 1ohm

    you will want to run a ported box for them in order to get the best performance out of them...not a prefab box, build your own enclosure

    ok so right now I'm about to be just running 2200w from a diehard platinum marine battery under the hood and gna upgrade my big 3 and get a 270A alt from mechman. but I plan to eventually upgrade to maybe as much as 8kw out of a pair of SQ 3500s. at that point I'm sure a 270A alt and a single battery wouldn't be enough to run both of those amps. possibly not even one of them. how big a battery would I need to run 1 of these amps and how big for 2 of these amps?

    I don't completely understand atm how the amp hours and stuff like that converts to be able to tell how much it would take to handle how much power yet that's why I'm asking.

    For 1, 1 D 3100, for 2 2 D3100 or 1 D7500 minimum, better 3 D3100 or more.

    one of my friends from way back posted these pics on his facebook page and i thought it was a pretty interesting topic to bring up here. I see people complaining about "brand X" being too expensive and how they are such a rip off because "brand Y" makes a much cheaper amp.

    Anyway, nowadays, some of these amps are in the 40 - 50 cents per watt range and people STILL bitching about pricing.

    Well let me tell you how it USED TO BE. You saw an amp behind the glass case at your local shop and you WEREN'T getting it. Period. LOL.

    the math on that ^^^ is about $8.50 - $8.75 per watt. HOLY SHIT you say....well we said that too :D

    I personally run T2500.1bd cp amps that MSRP @ $1599.99 and they all have birthsheets over 3300 watts RMS. That is $.048 cents a watt. AT FULL MSRP. Nobody pays that. Lets say you find my amp for $999.99. A RACK for an amp sounds expensive, FUCK THAT you say.....well i say that is .30 cents a watt. In my day, and my buddy Chris too, we would probably cut our own mother's arm off and backhand our grandmother with it to get a deal like that. LOL :D :D

    so anyway, i thought it was an interesting topic. I know we are talking RF here but now use your favorite brand and you might be talking 15-20 cents a watt. Who the hell bitches about that?

    How often did whe have ,the theme bitching about these or that on SMD?

    Isn´t it more that bitching is a thing in itself, out of the beeing of the oldes´t buissnes in the world?

    Maby someone will create a thread about bitching/acting in itself.

    But normaly bitching about "that" is a action of a bad suitor, a antagonist of bitchbuissnes, of a unnaware fellow runner of one of this sites.

    It´s every time these 3 bitch relators and there past and there future and there now, like the buissnes is "the oldest of the world".

    I asume for the SMD-forum, absolut the most people there bitching here are in group 3 from the sentences before and there respect

    to te respect of unnaware fellow runningship.

    Where its a little meh, to see a post of his in every single thread, from food to motors, and EVERYTHING in between, i don not think hes up to nothing shitty.

    He didnt start selling gear right at 150, like i thought was gonna happen. Soooo, i think hes fine.

    His post´s are not the enlightenment of the occident, but allright for a Forum like your´s.

    What me realy intrest´s what kind of strang is to suppose Steve, i see no big selling, no 18+ question´s (and what´s is realy in the 18+ lol with the most we have absolute

    no probs here in Germany), no rudness from him. The only thing i see that he give in his sig 3 States as residence, is that something like 3State Mafia a old SMD clan?
