  1. Four gauge is fine for the big 3 with what you are running. If you ever decide to run 5kw+ and need a few hundred amps of current, upgrade to 1/0. How long of a run is it from your battery to your alternator, 3-5 feet max?

When your car is running, the alternator supplies the voltage for all on-board electrical devices. While an additional battery would help for "key-off" playing time, AND provide additional capacitance to the system while the engine is running, you must remember that once your voltage drops due to heavy current demand, that extra battery becomes just another load on your stock alternator, just like your stereo system (and the capacitor; get rid of it!)

Upgrade the alternator, first. You cannot store energy you do not have.

Nonsens, 1 run 1/0 gauge is right gauge for over these amps, together over 1000 watts, and if the 750.1 rund on 4 Ohm 1/0 gauge is still right.

  2. dipping is worse than smoking in my opinion, both fail, i also started smoking as a mechanic, now i can't quit, it's not that easy, it's gunna be hard, i've tried it before, it becomes a part of your life, and a part of your routine, like bass does, imagine cutting that out of your life... maybe it's just my opinion on it, everyone is different

Switch to the cigaretts from untreated tobaco, where no aromizers, helpers for burning faster and espacialy no ammonia on (ammonia is the mystik of Marlboro).

Ammonia imitate nikotin but it come doublefast in ur blood so u got more adicction to smoke. I switche vew years ago and i reduce my cigarettesmokin for a half

    from one day to another.

  3. Dont push with a bigger woofer to the small ones. And there is no realy diffrence to work with 12 and 10´s. U can build box with a 15 or 18 woofer for the lows and 8´s or 10´s for

hard kicking midbass. But for good kicking midbass better to place 8´s in the doors. In case only the lows the ear cant locate.

  4. Never even though about adding to the sub displacement. Thanks alot. 1.5"mdf???

With steelstabilizers in it, yes. Sry, english to little, or something other cant find the way to insert a link to a topic. Look in Membersbuild/Show off, second side, Opel Combo with Digital

Designs/RF from Charger, this is in my oppinion a box without stabilizers but a lot of MDF. Think u need 2 massive stabilizers and a thicker wooferwall than 1.5

  5. Check the original version from "aint no nice guy" its from Ozzy Osburne, Motörhead and Slash, Sony here in Germany have the song prohibitit on u tube, more groove than this (Slashs gituarre)

and much much more from Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiill Yooouunnng, the early Dr. Hook and lot lot more of the american late sixtys and seventies Rock.

  6. I did 4 12's sealed just a few weeks ago...went for the most woofers I could fit inside the cab 'cause of the looks

It was pretty loud... then I took a sub out to fix an air leak...and fired it up like that - with a hole in the baffle, and that was a bit loouder even at half volume. So I swapped in a 6" port instead of the corner most sub. I've got to say I'm a bit sorry I didn't build this box ported in the first place (it real restrictive inside right now with heaps of bracing) - It's nasty loud, and hits real low with 34Hz of tuning - way louder on the lows than the sealed setup

But in your case, sealed might work better as you have more cubic feet per sub

This is the right bad idea
