ebay is a good place to get stuff on the cheap, just make sure that they are good sellers and if they give you a warranty its just another reason to trust them

Hey guys, this will be the first time that i have chosen to create a build log as well as do some major reconstruction of my cars audio, this last week i built my new box for a 12" BTL and im waitin on it to arrive, box is ~2.2 cu ft after the port and bracing. I have also ordered an AQ2200 to power the sub and a pair of T1652-S 6.5" to go along with the type S's that i already have. This is not going to be the typical SPL machine that is common place on this site since i want to keep my back seat and that leaves me with very little air space to work with. Equipment before i started buying new stuff: IDA-X001 PDX 1.1000 SWR-1242D SPS-500 Running 4 awg wire to the amp with 2 batteries and a Bosch alt I'm going to run 1/0 cable through everything and do the big three once i get the cable This is all going into a 1965 Volkswagen Beetle that i have had for quite a few years now. With that being said im going to have to get pretty creative when trying to mount the speakers, i dont want to mount them in the doors since i like the look of them as well as being made from cardboard. I'll get to try my hand at laying fiberglass. I hope to have some pictures up as soon as i start gettin my stuff If you have any suggestions for me i would really appreciate hearing them. Enjoy

Waitin for my btl to arrive (hopefully) sometime this week, but i was wondering how long i should allot for breaking it in and if there was a certain way of doing so that would be the most efficient

yeah the box dimensions are taking into account for the port and the size of the wood and i would like to do a reverse mount on the sub, which is the way that i have my type r's at the moment.

Bro, someone asked me what kind of power i was plannin on runnin and i said i didnt know, and whey i say that i dont have a budget right now means that price is not an issue, im just tryin to get an idea of the choices that are out there so im asking for suggestions for ANY sub out there, regardless of price, that would work be in the conditions i stated earlier.

As of right now im looking to change my whole system so i dont have an amp or a budget really, im just tryin to figure out which way i want to go with equipment, but i have been looking at some diablo and rockford amps

I am looking for a subwoofer that would work best under these conditions. It has to be 12 inches or less and the biggest box that will fit in my car is just a lil under 3 cubic feet. I don't want to buy a sub and not have a big enough box for it to reatch it's full potential. I would like a Fi btl but I feel like I wouldn't be doing it justice if I put it in that small of a box. Any suggestions for subs that would flourish under the stated conditions and where I can learn more about them would be greatly appreciated
