  1. This amp gonna be battery hungry. Hope not..10xs power batts what I'm running and still don't kno what amps to go but these seem pretty nice tho.I got my subs

These amps are monster efficient. In Anas rex on 1 600cu in batt pulled 6k ;)

I really really want more specifics on this one please!

    Battery type

    Load

    Rise

    car off or on?

    if on what size alt

One more Please I am building a rex now and plan to purchase within 2 weeks either the 9 or 2 5k's.

I'm not a fan boy nor a teenager talking out my butt. I am a serious competitor and consider this info as a valuable asset. Along with these answers IYO which would be the better for my application. I run meca.

  2. Yeah, each amp seeing .25 isn't healthy.

Some people swear its fine, but I don't like the extra strain it puts on the components.

I know what ya mean. Ive run my current amp at .25 since last september lol Plenty of batt and current help :)

Anyone notice the front page? Click on amps specs at the ready with pics of amps. The 175.4 is rated at 250.4 at 2ohm! Thats Beastly!! Cant wait to get mine lol

So does this mean your going to show up at Autorama sporting the new amps for you debut?

  3. Since you are running you substage from your highs amp you will be required to use the fuse rating of that amp.

With a 15" sub the fuse ratings are as follows: for the following fuses 35 amp , 80 amp, 180 amp.

Note you'll have to play music also.

    Fuse x18 sub size total

    350 177

    527 800 177

    977 1800 177

    1977

    Classes

    as1 0-550

    as2 551 to 1000

    as3 1001 to 2000

Therefore for you to place in as2 you need an 8o amp fuse. As3 180 amp.

    A competitive score in AS2 140 to 145

    A competitive score in AS3 142 to 150
