  1. When are you guy going to offer the Pioneer PRS 80?
  2. Profundus the results are actual clamped results Ray posted. It is what is is. It was clamped for the pair therefore if you were to double the number of amps it would result in 2000 amps of draw. But as you know it's all a balancing act depending upon install electrical base and box rise. Knowing Ray it was probably clipped a little definitely not a full clip.
  3. Everyone have fun today. Wish I was there but last minute malfunctions took me out.
  4. 1.5 per sub with 15sq of port works. I just raised my box tuning from 35; where it would play 25hz np, to 38hz to try and gain on the tl. Look for some new tl results in the next couple of days. Next move will be shrink the box down to 1.2.
  5. Having ran both m2's are definitely my favorite. Yes there have a few drop in results which yield 1-2db gain. IME the switch to the M2 is warranted simply because of the cooling. Even if there was no gain the cooling is well worth the change. The gain is just pudding on top.
  6. It's about time. Now we need to get permission to host a meca event at their facility.
  7. Now I'm still learning so this may sound like a dumb question but in this list, how do you know what your power requirements are needing to be if you don't have your equipment set already? Have you already designed the system and you are now just tackling the electrical first? Number uno if your going to scrimp on a system NEVER NEVER do it on electrical! If you think you have enough try and double it. Even with smaller systems the minimum electrical you should plan on is a HO alt 200 amps or better and 1-2 batteries.
  8. It would be nice if these were available at autorama. Any chance?
  9. What you guys are missing is that center brace is like the size of a a baseball batt.
  10. The only problem with this thread is Orion won't keep the thing installed long enough to do all the required testing to make it loud. Since I know this one is subject to change. He's got me wondering what his dedicated bass vehicle will be. Now I'd bet this one will be impressive.
  11. Rusty, Thor or any other Seasoned competitor who runs in excess of 10k help me spend some money wisely. I'm trying to find a nice clamp meter which will handle the output range of at least a strapped pair of 5k amps. Without breaking the Bank. At times like these I wish I would have gotten along better with my Dad so he could have taught me some electrical knowledge but we had hard times working together.
  12. With out a doubt I refuse to let mine go for any cheaper!!! I've got a couple available but unless some one makes it worth my while I'll just give them to my son.
  13. Round this time I'd kind of expect Rusty to fan the flame with some photos to get you guys stoked.
  14. Wrong but the user learning curve goes way up using multiple amps! The benefits are the box rise is split between the amps there for each amp is more efficient.
  15. I'll show you mine if you show me yours first.
  16. Outshines the IQ. From Websters Dictionary: ig·no·rant    [ig-ner-uhnt] Show IPA adjective 1. lacking in knowledge or training; unlearned: an ignorant man. 2. lacking knowledge or information as to a particular subject or fact: ignorant of quantum physics. 3. uninformed; unaware. 4. due to or showing lack of knowledge or training: an ignorant statement. I'll stand by my statement. And thanks for the complement. I think number 2 fits appropriately. Obviously your not stupid you just lack knowledge or information as to a particular subject or fact. What gets me is when you are presented with the knowledge or fact you chose to rely on you vast wisdom and question the validity of champions!
