  1. I thought it was the amp at first so i unhooked that one amp and left the other ones hooked up but its still doing it.
  2. Id also like to add that the music still works but you have to turn it up quite a bit to hear it over the noise. And when I start my truck the noise gets louder.
  3. I have a pioneer deck that had 3 separate RCA plugins. There is a front, rear and sub one. I have 3 different sets of RCAs going the 3 different amps. I have four kicker 6x9s on one amp, 2 kicker 12s on another amp, and four kicker 6.5s on the other amp. i just installed the amp for the 6.5s today. The RCAs for the sub amp are of course hooked up in the sub plugin on the deck. i had the amp for the 6x9s hooked up the the front plugin on the deck ans it worked fine. Now today i go to hook the amp for the 6.5s up to the front plugin and the amp for the 6x9s to the rear plugin and a wierd buzzing sound comes out of the speakers. If i unplug the RCAs that are hooked up to the 6x9 amp the noise stop. Im not aware of this problem and not sure how to fix it. Any ideas?
  4. I was thinking that i didnt need one but some of the other intakes they make for my truck come with them. I just wanted to make sure the heat or whatever from the engine wouldnt hurt it. I appreciate the help guys.
  5. i bought a cold air intake kit for my 97 toyota tacoma 3.4 V6 4x4. The intake itself did not come with a heat shield. Do i necessarly need a heat shield or can i use it without one?
