So one of my friends just told me that he has a 2400w amp going to two RF P2's. I am in class so i cant inspect it in person but is that at all possible without melting the p2's?

How did u get the inventor program?
I got it through school. Im in a class called IED its part of a thing called Project Lead the Way. Mine is a student version. To get it for you it costs like $500.

I want to get 4 15's for my car they will be going in the trunk with a blow though of sorts. I know im going to have to go with a cheap brand but im looking to spend 500 or so on the subs. I know thats not much but if you had to go with something sheap what would you pick?

and no thanks on painting the rims- the spokes and ESPECIALLY the dish will remain chrome, the way i like it
if it was black on black or white on white, i would consider it but im not a fan of any other color/color matched rims then those 2 colors..

What style of box r these going in? 12 15's is pretty massive imo. Chrome baskets are sick too.

got some qestions.
what in blue. tune i want 34hz but torres cal. say 36hz?
what is in red. very close to port size cal. (146.03) nd torres cal. is (146.25) with this number it is tune to 34hz correct?
one more question i see a ( - negitive number) could this mean bad??? what circle in yellow.

ps i change the height of box so the port can clear the top part of the sits.
Ya a negative port length would kinda be impossible. at the bottom of the page in the background you can calculate ideal port length.

YOU PROBABLY USE INVENTOR TO DO THIS DESIGN, I DID MY BOX ON INVENTOR TOO, FOR YOUR LAYOUT SHEET YOU MAY WANT TO USE A D-SIZE SHEET SO YOU'LL GET MORE OF YOU VIEWS AND DIMENSIONS PUT ON THERE.
Nice eye for inventor mang props to you for that. I was in a hurry and didnt feel like messing with the sheet i was just getting some drawings up there. How skilled in inventor are you?

OK i see what you might be saying about cancellation but i have seen it done like this before. I was just seeing if a box this design would work. i had the port 12" tall x 1" wide x 6" long i changed it to 12x3x32 and got a tuning of 34.62 which should be decent for daily. I haven't picked out any subs yet because i wanted to see what all i could accommodate. That space in the middle could easily be made smaller to add more volume in the chamber. I'm just trying to figure out if this will work. Chicken's Escalade has it but maybe i am missing something.

Does this look like a decent designed box? It's 3.99 cubes per side tuned to 29.22 hz using expos calculator. It will basically be a blow through from trunk into cabin of car. Port forward, subs facing each other.

Im 17 been driving since the first day i could my only advice is to find something that you feel good in something that fits you that you look forward to getting into every day. Also before you buy it have a local mechanic check it out to make sure its sound. I have an 88 buick regal that only has 43000 on it but its old enough that seal and such are going bad and wreaking all kinds of havoc on my car (aka $1000 of debt i owe to my parents). So find something that you bond with.

Our school has a 3d printer.. I've never used it though. It's cool, but takes forever. Like 10 hours just to make a small piece
Ours is pretty quick its a new model for this year.

Yes thank you i kinda wanted to make a cow for the misses. she loves them. as far as a vagina/ blow up doll this is for school. A further explanation the case is going to be printed of our our rapid prototyping machine. Assuming that you dont know what this is is is a 3D printer that uses 1/100th thick layers of ABS plastic to make the shape. So literally anything is possible. Here is the link to the companys website for you to check out. it is really freaking cool and awesome.
