On an ems page I'm on on FB the news story linked claimed it was a cell phone, but I was like uh, I don't think so. Those local news stations are crap reporting usually. Fresh ground salt and pepper, 500-600 degree charcoal grill, ~1.5 minutes each side twice. I do a quarter rotation half way through to get nice cross lines. Time adjusted to thickness of cut.

But I agree "rules" are guidelines because a good chef, cook, grill master etc can make a bad steak good, but a shitty cook could take a 120 dollar dry aged ribeye and ruin the hell out of it.
