  1. yeah the angles arent ALL that tough.. and i feel ya on the lack of time lol im really curious what these 8's can do in your truck..this is that same box i was contemplating when i was looking for more leg room... it should work good for ya

well im 5 10 so i have plenty of leg room with the dimensions............ maybe next week i will start build...........i have to buy the birch this week........
  2. quick and easy to figure out the angle is cut your side pieces for the box... then use a small piece of mdf to help figure out your angle for the front baffle..or a scrap piece of wood just play with it till it works it m...i put mine together in this order when i had this style box... bottom, sides, back, front baffle, then the top... and you really have enough airspace for a pair of these subs and trying to knock out a side wall like that could end up tearing up the box lol mdf doesnt like to come apart without a fight sometimes

i will be using birch......................well my dad is the carpenter he can figure out the angles............im just ready to get this damn box built......just dont have time with a 7yr 3yr and 2yr old lil girls and and young wifey..................
  3. that length will allow his port to load better off the side wall.... its more important in this truck than lowering the tuning 1 hz.. the truck itself likes to play low i can play into the upper 20's and im tuned at 37 in mine

this may sounf crazy but i was thinking of making the box at 40 length but put the side piece at the 36 in length and if i need more airspace just knock the one piece out till i get it right...............
  4. gonna be bout the most box you can get back there man..without losing some leg room.. id built it and try it out see if you like it.. dont pretty it up just see if it sounds good to ya...could prolly build 2 boxes outta 1 sheet

yeah im not gonna pretty it up at all......and you are the one who gave me the dimensions and how to fire the box......so when its done i will let you know......only question i have the front baffle will be at a 45dg cut on top and bottom correct........................
  5. just cool your trunk with an ammonia based cooling system............oh wait that shits expensive........we use to wrap co2 lines around aluminum boxes to keep certain items cold.....i would think co2 would be the way to go.........maybe not directly on amps or subs but in the general area of where equipment would be.....if a sub can take 5000wts i dont think cooling the sub is the way to go more than making sure you are getting the cleanest signal from the amp and keeping it cool while doing it........maybe im dumb but i just always thought clean power equals saving your subs from blowing to shit...........but correct me if im wrong....
