  1. 2 more silly questions, would the llp abdorb sound that the damp pro or alpha reflects if layered? Should i renove my already installed dynocrap or apply damp over it?
  2. Im looking to run 2k-3k in somewhat distant future (i know ill need extra batterys then) but for now im looking to be efficiant with around 900wrms plus my lights, when im winching im not rockin out

  4. I really appriciate the in depth response, you couldnt have described it any better. Time for me to get out the tape measure and make my order! Thanks again!
  5. Im running a 12k lb winch and 3 sets of 80-110 watt lights on top of stereo. Depending upon which future stereo build i choose i know ill need extra batts. Just trying to figure what max output the alt can put out before needing extra voltage
  6. So if i cover my entire interior with pro/alpha the llp wont absorb the interior sound the damp is enhancing? Im sorry if i sound repetitive but if ive experimented alot with deadners and been often dissapionted so i want to make sure im gettin $800 worth of noticible fifference
  7. Im undecided on what my next build is going to be and unsure of the power ill be putting out. Ive ran multiple batteries on many vehicles but never upgraded my alternator. Currently ive got a 4.0 explorer and am set on purchasing 270amp because i need the extra power for off road goodies on top of my stereo. Im just curious on how self sufficiant the alternators are under load before adding more batterys
  8. So if i sludge the entire interior i would have all the benefits? Say i did the entire interior in damp pro it would be better acousticly but would not rid of exterior noise. so id layer of it all with luxury liner and with both i still would need heat wave to insulate?
  9. Basically i want to insulate as much as possible to maintain internal temperature, kill exterior noise and enhance/insulate the music. Not to say money is no issue but im willing to spend whats neccasary to seal it up. Would the luxury liner reduce road noise better than damp pro or alpha? Also on the chance of getting water or mud in the truck can i rely on the floor coverage
  10. Ive got i explorer im looking to gut and enforce with ss products. Its an off road built daily drivin bass machine. I wad thinking of runninh sone spectrum sludge but im not sure if its my best option. Currently im running 3 10s off of 1300 wrms on top of loud ass mud terrains with unpredictable weather conditions so im looking for type product to give me the best thermal and sound isulation with near future plans of running 2 15s off 4200wrms. What would be my best bang for the buck with years of satisfaction?
  11. so the sludge is more of an enhancer to the damp pro vs it being just as good if not better(sludge). Or is it the amount (coverage) that could be the weighing factor? I appriciate all answers im just makin sure im gonna make the right desicion on short notice
  12. How do they compare with a refurb sundown against a new audioque?(i beleive refurbs are stronger) But as far as quality and efficiancy?
  13. soooo i take it the AQ over SD so far
  14. Im lookin to spend no more than $100 on sound deadning for my mark viii and im between the spectrum sludge, spl tiles and Damp pro.... now with my "budget" What will be most worth the money? Im looking to get as far as i can thru the car on $100 worth. I like the idea of the sludge the best as well but whats gonna stretch the farthest and have the greatest effect?
  15. Ive narrowed it down to the SAZ-1500D and the AQ2200D...... either of these will be for my 3 10" Boston Acoustic G5's. They will be ran a 1.34 ohm. Any and ALL opinions much appriciated and also does the AQ have 0g power and ground?
  16. Audio que 2200d or sundown 1500d? What would be most reliable and powerful?
  17. looks pretty good, how were you able to post that from sketchup? Ive been tryin to figure it out all day
  18. What about the sludge? Ive been looking into that for a lil while now as well as quiet car i beleive. Id rather work with it than the sheets. But whats the best stuff for the price?
  19. Just so you can get a better idea, the box i just built with 3 10's is 38.5w x 16h... sooo with your set up with the more height your able to work with you should be able to finagle another sub in
  20. Thanks every one! I love the box but love the box more because you all like it!
  21. only thing left to do is install the speaker terminal and the speaker wire and she shall be complete, then the amp decision
  22. Thanks!! its nice to here bass heads compliment me! This was not an easy build either. My router was burned out and my roto zip wouldnt release the bit so there for i had to hit it with the circ saw then bring everything in the basement for the table saw and back up to use the jig saw and assemble..... 3/4 aint light either lol! Im proud of myself, im pround of the box, and my choice of subs.... now just awaiting the amp decision and purchase then ill see how truly badazz it is
