car: 1993 camry system: kicker zx750.1 powering a 12" alpine type r, kicker zx350.4, rockford digital 1 farad cap, and using 4 and 8 gauge wires. stock electrical, 70/80 amp alt and a duralast battery >.< i do get dimming and voltage drops, that is if i put the gain up a bit. the more i back down the gain the lesser i get dimming, regardless i still get the same results. i would like to know what would be my best move? save money for a H/O alt? new battery? big 3 first? thanks alot people. peace.

yeah it looked like a H.C. on the outside. he replaced it with just a ordinary metal pipe.

whenever i accelerate i hear a humming noise coming from my speakers inside the car. and when the car is on i hear hissing noises coming from the speakers, very annoying. my headunit and EQ are not grounded to the car's chassis. it is wired up with the cars wireharness, i used a crimp wire connector. and rca's and power wires are away from each other. amps grounds are good. i tried a ground loop isolator, that didnt work. can it be cheap RCA's? well im not sure if they are cheap, they are rockford but they are the very old. i dont even know if they sell them no more. but the RCA's are purple.

hello. every time i start my car my exhaust leaks some kind of black liquid. a couple of months ago a mechanic took out this "honey comb looking " piece of metal and replaced it with a small pipe. he replaced it because it had a crack in it and it was making this loud noise. i dont think he welded it good. but when my car runs it stops leaking. the only time it leaks is when i havnt drove for a few days and it also makes this hunming noise. i was thinking of bringing it back if he can weld it. what should i do? also can that be a reason im loosing gas?

big 3 = 0 guage or 4 gauge?

the sub is dual 4 ohms. the kicker is 2 ohm stable @ 750 rms.

i just recently bought this sub used for $160, good deal or what? its 1000 rms and 2000 max, can it take more than 1000 rms (just curious)? i have a kicker 750.1 will it do?

yeah this might be true. because my gas meter hand would go down and then when im parked or stopped for a long time it would go back up. i will observe. thanks.

or i was thinking my gas meter is off. because sometimes it goes down and when im parked and leave my car in a lot or something it goes back up.

no that is not the right part that is for a v6 camry. mines is a 4 cylinder 2.2 Liters. dude i know about shops around here lol im not that stupid. that is why im trying to do all this by myself and see what i can do.

instead of buying a new hose .. can i just seal the tear with epoxy?

hey i gotta kicker 750.1 that draws 80 amps and a kicker 350.4 that draws 40 amps. so that is a total of 120 amps. im running stock alt. (70 amps) and using a AGU 100 amp fuse. it hasnt given me any problem but do you think i should upgrade to ANL fuses and get a 125 amp? what do you think? thanks.
