  2. Thats bullshit man......few yrs back a shop around this way was getting peoples addresses when doing their alarm installs....and mysteriously if those cars had nice set-ups, the stuff would get jacked without the alarms ever going off... who better to disarm everything or know if it has a back up battery than the guy who put it in. They eventually got busted for it somehow.... did you do your alarm yourself...??

Nah I didnt but the alarm was put in about 45 miles away from my house before I had anything in it. Trust me, the though crossed my mind lol. Also, new update,,, just found out that they broke the ignition. They tried to take the whole Burb first and once they couldnt do it thats when they took everything EXCEPT for my pods. They couldnt get through the wood, fiberglass, and bolts.

  5. disconnecting one channel at a time will tell you where the issue may lie. certainly try that.

another culprit could be a defective rca.

yet another could be a pinched rca, or even remote wire. I've seen that happen as well.

best way to rule out the amp is to disconnect all channels except one. let it play if no problems, hook up the next channel... and repeat. if you get to say the third set and it cuts off... disconnect that channel and hook up the next. if no problems then you need to check everything in that third run (again thats an example) process of elimination.

    but again, check rca, etc.

and yet another... make sure the input voltage going into the amp does not exceed the input voltage of what the amp can handle. I had that issue with an amp in the past... the company that made the amp also made the eq I was using. the problem was the eq was a 7volt eq... their amps only took 4volt input. lol

X2 On this. It sounds like a bad speaker in all honesty. In most cases I have seen personally, that seems to be the problem every time. To bad you live so far from me. Id hook up with ya and help out. GL sir

  6. The 200.4 will run at 1 ohm however,IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED AND WILL INSTANTLY VOID YOUR WARRENTY!! Only Jacob and a few others know how truley strong and stable it is at that impeadence, as well as what the life span of the amplifier is. I own one and I can tell you that it is very powerful and VERY under rated. With that being said, its a kickass amp that you could have a bunch of fun with. If your really against getting a monoblock (1500d),which honestly is best for your application, run it at 2 ohms per channel.
