  1. hmmmm, I wonder what mine drops to then same amp on lesser electrical. glad you got it working.
  2. well, the way I see it is it would be a ground wire, I don't know why it powered your amp though.
  3. something like this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CC3kdQKGvbQ
  4. maybe some all thread/dowels. if you glass and then sand the inside make sure you clean it really well, your lungs and eyes wouldn't agree with the flying glass particles.
  5. LoL Thanks for the random shout out. I actually found him from someone else on his site. Posted a thread like 2-3 days ago... haha no problem. i've been listening to it all night, i really did search before i posted this though!
  6. dang, i searched "Hopsin" and no threads came up. oh well.
  7. Just saw this via bigpimpin on youtube, dude is a monster.
  8. what n8 said, i put mine in the bottom of my door.
  9. prolly a shifted top plate, see if there's a gap on one side of the coil and no gap on the other, if there is then the top plate detached and stuck to the pole.
  10. the one for my double din was 40 local, so you may just want to go that route if you can't find anything else, or make one. if all else fails, I think I have a generic one I could get rid of.
  11. that sucksssssssss. the ceiling in my room fell out onto my bed one night, not from a leak though.
  12. Letting the alarm go off for a while seemed to fix the problem, nothing sets it off anymore, and the blue LED stays on solidly. But now it's still not letting me program the remote.
  13. I got bored and decided to go for it, I have that "anything can be fixed" mentality. My car didn't have a factory alarm, but it did have factory keyless entry.
  14. basically the alarm I just tried to install with no knowledge of alarms, arms everytime my battery is connected, so everytime i try to turn the car on/open the door it goes off. It started doing this after I connected the parking light sensor. Is it because I don't have fuses on the dome/parking light polarity fuse grid thing yet? It wasn't doing this before I connected the parking light sensor, I've been trying to program the brain/remote and it wont do anything, so the remote doesn't work yet. it's an code alarm ca-670. and also if it helps at all, the brain is making a noise like a relay keeps clicking. and yes I expected something like this to happen.
  15. no you're right, i'm bad with cylinders, explain to him how to get the port area
  16. no problem, if that calculator tells you port area, try to keep it around 9-11 square inches per cubic feet of your box. if you need to calculate the area of your port do pi times radius squared times length. heres an image to help understand that a little better. if you get lost just check back in here someone will help out.
  17. I get 38hz from that but it would be more than enough port area, watch how big you get with your ports also, you're losing a lot of box volume.
  18. it would also change the tuning, as well as add area. Sanitarium is also correct.
  19. say huh? this is with 18 inches still. edit : i get what you said now, what i mean by port area is the volume of your port, if you went with the two fives you would end up with 4.20cu ft after displacement, with 39 square inches of port area.
  20. 39ish with a lot of port area. two 5's would give you 32 - 33ish with 9 inches per cube of port area
  21. what part of IL are you from? there's a few of us on here from central-ish.
  22. That box is big enough for an 18.... unless you meant 17 inches total and not 10 plus 17. Anyways, it would work if you're good with your wood
