  1. Ok i have a single 15 custom slot ported box, specs are 3.5 cubes net 15 inches port per cube with a tuning of 34-35hz.

Music likes range from techno, rock, to deep hitting rap.

I want to keep the output of my kicker cvx but i want a siginificant upgrade on SQ and deep clean bass.

Power is 1000rms but im a little scared that my tuning is really high and that the skars would somehow be less clean sounding and just not the perfect box for them.

Also was considering a sundown sa 15 since im tuned pretty high but the price is literally $60 more and i dont know if its really worth it unless you guys think so.

    Any advice?

  2. Just my 2 cents.

I had the audioque 1200 as my fist amplifier on 2 kicker cvr in a big ported box.

Ran for almost a year and was great but then i decided to upgrade. In the meantime i bought an audiopipe 1500d for another truck i had and i only purchased it since it was getting good feedback on here. I hooked it up in the same truck with the 2 kicker cvr 15 and notice no loss in sound quality of my subs whatsoever, and it was slightly a little bit louder but no at all by much.

So my point is dont worry about the sq of the amp i had both the aq and the ap and i still have the ap in the other truck running hard for a year and a half now. Great amp in my opinion.

  3. Its not going to be mine but with warranty it does not seem bad since if it fries i can send it back and get a new one.

I recently had experience with a kole audio qx1 3000d rated at 2300rms and its a lot stronger than my ap1500 and research on forums has let me know it does rated and shares board with some high end amps.

I just want to see if maybe it can get me at least 2000 rms like i read that the 5500 bamf can, i might just go with the bamf with the warranty $200.

  4. Anybody know what board this amplifier is similar or exactly alike to? Power Acoustik D1-6000D Demon

I was thinking about doing a BAMF 5500 on a cousins build knowing that it is very overrated but i read i can get at round 2000 rms and for the price and warranty is good to me.

But then i saw this one with 0 gauge inputs and i was wondering if there was any testing on this one or if the board is like another amplifier out there. Thanks.

  5. I sold an Audioque 1200d a while back and have great feedback for it as well as a feedback thread.

Now i have two JL Audio Slash V2 amplifiers for sale.

Both are in great working condition each was powering a single 12 W7 in the same car.

They are both in used condition with normal wear and marks but in 10/10 working condition.

Price is 220 shipped for each with tracking number. Paypal.

  6. Let me know how you are liking your set. Purchased this exact same set the tw25 pro version. $169.99.

Problem i have are with the tweeters. The midrange is great louder than my old diamond audio hex mids. But tweeters are almost not audible with no detail i can barely hear the voice on the song.

I mean you can hear them but with no detail but even when i raise the db on the crossover all that happens is they get even more annoying with no detail.

Let me know how they sound to you and what you did with them. My amp is at 100 rms to each side and the crossover is set hpf at 125 and up. I emailed woofersetc and hopefully its a defect or something because i am stumped i do not know what to do with them. My old dimaonds tweeters were much more detailed although harsh but atleast i can hear the voices loud on them.

  7. Im planning on maybe two sundown sa 15. Amp is still not decided on, im currently looking at the crescendo 2000 watts amplifier, hifonics brz2400, and maybe the ap3000d. Leaning towards the crescendo if priced right. Im just not sure if the crescendo at 2000rms will be a huge difference in output than my current ap 1500 rms amp so im thinking i might have to go to atleast 2400rms and above.

Im planing on getting 1 huge battery upfront wired with my stock battery, Deka intimidator group 31, ngt extreme (same battery i heard), or an xs d3400. Alternator is 160 amps stock on my 2007 yukon. Knu fleks 0 gauge.

  8. I run that same set of cdt's. They're alright, gonna upgrade to dual sets of maybe crescendos in my front doors and a set in the rear doors.

Can you let me know what model crescendos you are looking at?

Also given the same power will the cdt be a lot lower in output than the crescendos?

I just want highs that would keep up with 2500-3000 rms and no rear stage. I do have room in the stock tweeter pods to add 1 more set of tweeters but im just looking for 1 set of components in the front stage. Thanks.

  9. Amp is out of my budget but if i had to get more power i would get one around 150rms at 4 ohms.

Here are the specs of my amp am i looking at this right and maybe see that i can use my amp bridged to run 1 set of components in my front stage no rear? or is this spec just for subs?

    CHANNELS: 4 ◦RMS @ 4 Ohms = 60 x 4

    ◦RMS @ 2 Ohms = 100 x 4

    ◦RMS @ 4 Ohms = 200 x 2 Bridged

  10. Getting ready to upgrade my current audiopipe 1500 to something like an ap 3000d or a hifonics brz2400.1, open to any other amp suggestions under $400 but have to be 2400rms or better.

Problem is my highs are lacking now even with my two 15 cvx ported on 1500rms total.

I am running diamond audio hex 6.5 components and only have a front stage so a total of two tweeters and two 6.5 mids and the crossovers. Im dead set on selling my components since these are the model hex that had problems with the mids having NO MIDBASS and the tweets being super harsh.

Question is since i have a cerwin vega exl 400.4 that puts out 60 rms x 4 at 4 ohms and like 120 rms x 4 at 2 ohms, i need to know what components i should get that are reputably very loud and nice sounding but mainly very loud highs, i dont care much about having great midbass since i cross my subs pretty high at around 100hz, i rather my highs be very loud enough to handle the ap 3000 rms amp.

Also i might be able to upgrade my amp to say 150 rms per channel 4 ohms. Thanks budget is around $200 no more.
