  1. This kind of thing will continue to happen unless there is real change from bottom to top with corrupt pigs, dorner was just more mad than most and decided to take it out on them himself. Problem is he chose random cops and also decided on death instead of just going a less violent path although im not sure what you could do to the corrupted ass system we have down here.

  2. I still dont see where all of this "highly skilled" stuff is coming from, i mean like yeah he has some type of training but is he really like navy seal army ranger level.

I dont see it other than him ambushing a few but all this hype i thought he would bring out the explosives, booby traps, grenades, he did say he was going to do a lot of things in that memoir.

  3. Have a single 15 vvx sub ive had laying around for months now.

I swapped it originally when i got it with a friends setup i did where i had 800rms to a single kicker 15 cvx 3.5 net box, 15 inches of port per, tuned to 36hz and i just liked the kicker better in that box than this skar since i could tell the kicker was a lot more louder in the 38hz plus range.

I put the skar away and i now want to get a setup going with it.

Question is what is the loudest ouput for a daily driver on all kinds of music from rap to rock for a single skar vvx 15 box specs?

Should i go 3 cubes net tuned to 32hz, or make the box bigger and tuned higher? Space is not a problem and power will be 600-750rms.

Also would sealed work for loudness from lows and higher? If so 2 cubes net or bigger/smaller?

    Thanks.

  4. I noticed in the manual i can change the Bass Output Control from the stock 5 volts to 2.5, 7.5, or 10 volts.

What are the differences i will notice and where should i leave it at. The system is 2 15 subwoofers on 1600rms. I use the epicenter a lot on spanish music mainly.

Also i read you can change the internal subsonic filter that is stock at 33hz and order one as low as 25hz. Is this stock one robbing me of low lows like 25 hz? My box is tuned to 34hz. Also does this stock 33hz filter affect music that does not need me to increase the epicenter knob? Like say most rap music or does this 33hz filter only affects music when i turn the knob of the epicenter?

  5. Friends Scion Xb was in need of some bumpso he gathered up some equipment he had laying around his house so FREE for him:

Bass amp: Crunch GPV 2100.1 (will be upgraded soon i cant stand it really but it pushes the sub loud with this box and hes happy)

    rated at

    • 4 ohms: 525 watts x 1 chan. (more like 250rms)
    • 2 ohms: 1050 watts x 1 chan. more like 500 rms)
    • 1 ohms: 2100 watts x 1 chan. (more like 1000 rms)

Mids highs amp: Performance technique 4 channel about 60 rms each channel at 4 ohms. Decent so so

Then i had him buy all new: (pics will be added)

Pioneer Double Din head unit $220

Soundstream 2 gauge amp kit and fosgate distro $65

Audiocontrol Epicenter for the mexican corridos $110

Clarion equalizer mainly for the line driver in it but he likes the look of it $50

Infinity Kappa 4 inch coaxials for the dash ran off the highs amp

Infinity reference 6.5 components for the front doors and tweets in the A pillars ran off the highs amp

Kicker ds 5.25 inch coaxials for the rear by the hatch ran off the head unit

along with a set of Infinity kappa tweeters right above those kickers off the C pillars

Electrical still needs work luckily not running many watts but lights still dim a bit too much for my liking. Big 3 will be done soon and a fatter battery as well should help.

Main problem so far is the RATTLES, they are ridiculous in this car obviously with it being so thin. So far just put spray foam on the rear quarter panels by the 5.25 speakers and some in the hatch but it is still too much. Anybody with some advice, im planning on putting some of my deadener on the roof, rear doors, but the hatch i dont feel like it would do much with just deadener but i will try it soon.

Box is 4 cubes net, 34 hz tuning, 15 inches of port area, box sub and port up (thanks ram!). Bedliner from walmart(first time using it came out average)

Box a little scuffed at the bottom since this pic was taken like a week after i was done so he took it off a lot and scuffed it

  6. Have some one on here make you a design that specializes in making them.

2.5 Cubes net even 3 if you want. Give it 1000rms and tune to 33-35hz. Good port area 14-16 and it will pound very loud and low.

Experiment with sub placement in your car and make sure you set your filters properly everywhere so you wont lose the 25 plus hz bass lines.

  7. What box did you have on it before?

My friend had one 12 about 3 years ago and the shop convinced him to by the "special orion" box they had for them which basically just a thick small sealed box. He had a kicker zx1500 running to it at 2 ohms(1500rms) and it just was not loud at all.

He could have ran a ported box and got louder but i also felt that the sub was very power hungry and needed more rms.

I recommend getting more real power not like that zrx you have at least go brz2400 or brz3000 and DEFINITELY make a big ported box tuned low 32-36

  8. Dont be ashamed to to talk about that sub, it really is an amazing sounding sub and can get very loud in the right box. I love those subs, many people talk crap about them only because they are expensive, and they are, but to say they dont sound great is so not true.

I had the 12 inch version in a 2.5 cubed net box and it slammed every kind of music i gave it from lows to upper lows, sounded amazing as well. Had it on 1000rms.

Put the 13 in about 3-3.5 cubes net ported. Tuned to 34hz and you will love it. JL really works great in big boxes.

  9. For head unit power its really tough to beat the effiiciency and loudness of the infinity reference componets and coaxials, especially coaxials 2 ways and 3 ways. I did a build on a small honda with just 4 reference coaxials on a pioneer headunit and they got really loud and clear, infinity has very loud tweeters.

Then i put an amp and it got even clearer and slightly louder 40 rms amp each channel.

  10. I had three of these a while back and i also feel you have to be VERY careful about overpowering these as they are not built all that great.

They do get loud off little power and at that price range i guess you cant beat it but i would not recommend the sub as i will have to just suggest to spend like 30 bucks more and get the kicker cvr 12. Much better built and louder, and can take some abuse.

  11. Best 3.5 speakers ive heard and by far the loudest are the infinity kappa. They can also take power. Also the JBL 3.5 are just as great. If you can squeeze a 4 incher go for the infinity kappa.

Its loud as hell and sounds clear and he has it on the radio. We tested it with 50rms on an amplifier and got it sounding louder and better.

Just make sure your crossover is set properly no matter how you run it since not many 3.5 or 4 inch speakers like bass.
