a buddy of mine has $800 to spend on some subs and amp he has good electrical just wants something pretty loud i was thinking about doing 12 12"s the hifonics hfi powered by ?? but then again maybe 2 18s of some sort..
idk throw some suggestions out there

i need a blowthrough box design asap so i can get started on a customers request.
i have 58 wide 17.75 height and 18.75 depth.
ported most likely say tuned around 34
its for 2 L7 15s powered by a kicker 1500.1 ill paypal u $10

what about the highs? its just a lot to build in a box. and then if i dont like it, then thats a lot of wood wasted, thats all im worried about, thats why i was going to do that simpler desgin tuned higher
also the specs of the subs are a little different, dont know if that will change the sound of the box or not... and having a T-Line with lots of power? ive heard T-lines are for low powered systems.

oh wow, from the picture it looked more like a halfwall style, i just may have to steal this desgin from you! could you PM me (or even post it here if you want) the specs, more pics, any information on this box desgin? thanks, also, is it 2 separate boxs?
yes its two separate boxes i bolted them together once i finished..
comes out nice though..

thats a nice looking box!
now i do want a smaller style box (reason i got rid of the 15's) i had no room to put anything behind my seats. so thats why i was going to do 4 10's sealed, but i dont know if i would be happy with sealed. so i would need a ported box that didnt take up to to much room (and i can set stuff on top ie: bags and stuff)
dimensions are
40 wide 24 tall and 16 deep
you can still put bags on top and it has side room too..
i just wanna see someone push enough power on some subs on this design because i loved it..

HDC at 31HZ? Id love to see that. DJ told me they like 36-38. IF that box made em sweet at 31 I want one lol
that box is specifically designed for a 99 chevy s10 ext cab
gets real low and painful in the 40-45 hz region..
just never fed them more than 500 watts at the time

Really no reason to buidl right at the res freq unless your seriously trying to compete or wanan waste alot of time building lol. Just do what tre said and do a bit higher tuning like 38 and see how you like it.
i have a box design for 4 hdc3 10" i did earlier this year ripped in all kinds of music its tuned to 31 hz
gets low and loud never got to feed them enough power and got rid of them wish i still had them
