  1. Thanks for the positive comments, Nice to know that if things are done tastefully, the opinions are good. And it does happen to be loud too!!! (the voltmeter in the mirror is very easy to do)
  2. Thankyou. I've added more old pics to the members Builds/show off section.
  3. No high amp alt, using the standard 70a one, My car has only a 600cc turbo engine. my box is currently tuned to 23hz and is 5 cuft. I am using 3 100a leisure batterys, 2 of them mounted under the drivers seat in a floor cut cage!! I keep an eye on voltage with a directed meter mounted in my rear view mirror. already looking forward to the events in the new year.
  4. LOL...... Busted. I was told about this site by a fiend that had mentioned that a 150 was not possible in a low tuned system, In our streetbassers format known as PD, The mic is put on the headrest and the cabin can be open or sealed.... scores at 20hz, 25hz, 33hz, 40hz plus peak are averaged to give your overall PD score. (my score is 151.01db average) (my peak is now 153.6@31hz)
  5. I agree, The transmission is pretty bad, I'm on my 4th gearbox in 3 years now. the gear change is slow but tou soon get used to it and driv the car in a way to avoid the delays... I modified the reflectors and fitted cheap set of HID's but I soon reverted back to upgraded bulbs, I wasn't too impressed with the output TBH.
  6. I got some 'FK automotive' it converts the 3 stud fitment to 5x112 mercedes fit. 17" wheels on a smart looks pretty good. You guys know of the PD format we have over here?
  7. Hi, I found a link to this site via a UK bass site. I have a SmartCar (see Pic) I was thinking of using a HCCA in a low tuned Streetbass system. How loud do you guys think I could get bearing in mind my tiny cabin size.....?
