  1. Do either of these sites run the risk of viruses?
  2. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey! I used to watch Spice World all the time when it first came out and I turned out fine.
  3. I got owned. Well that means you don't have to worry about pitting it.
  4. Well the hose would only be parts and you could easily do it yourself. I'm not sure about a thermostat though. Call up a parts store in the morning.
  5. That too. I've seen it happen on a tractor before.
  6. Check to see if any of your hoses or blown or anything.
  7. If it was smoking and smelled of antifreeze than you definately blew a radiator line i believe.
  8. I think it depends on what type of media you are blasting it with. I'm not sure if chrome is softer than other metal types that people comonly mediablast. I'd probably try powdercoating it after a real good cleaning first to see what happens.
  9. Yes. http://forum.caswellplating.com/powder-coa...me-plating.html
  10. :Sorry ahead of time if this has already been done many times before, but I joined this forum to talk with people and damnit I'm going to! : Anyways, lol. Lets take a trip back into our noobish days. Feel free to answer any or all of these questions or don't. your choice. What got you into car audio? What was your first experience with car audio? and finally... What was the first system you owned (subs, amps, radio, etc.)? My first system was all from Wal Mart because I didn't know what quality was and neither did any of my friends who recommended I buy my shit from there. I had 2 10" Sony Xplods in a sealed box which was actually custom built and really nice, powered by a 760w Pioneer Wal Mart amp, a shitty Wal Mart Sony deck which I still have. I also still have those shitty Dual illuminite speakers because I thought they were awesome. And of course, Scosche wiring from Wal Mart all around. Even though it sucked, it got me hooked for life on bass and I've gone through four sets of subs including that pair and the ones I have now which was all a waste of money that i should have saved to buy REAL equipment. okay, your turn.
  11. Is anyone else trying to figure out how it wen't from lies to volcanoes?
  12. Thanks for the help guys. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with some DC subs. But it's nice to actually have people to take car audio with. lol. One last question: Sould I upgrade the system in my car first or use my money to buy a car and put a system in that? lol. I'm pretty sure the system i have in my car now is worth more than my car. .
  13. Do you have any idear how much two 12" level 3's would cost?
  14. Whats a good website to look at those at and possibly buy them from??
  15. If I bridge down the wiring to my amp, it's capable of 900 wrms. I'm pretty sure the rms of the p3's is around 500w.
  16. Thanks for doing some research. lol. That H/U You picked out was actually the one I was really interested in getting btw. But I was looking to get 2 12" subs which I should have specified.
  17. I was a member of The Ford Escort Owners Association (FEOA) Forum but I was only on it for like a week. lol.
  18. So the first upgrade I should do is the "Big 3" before i even bother buy new equipment? I'm not really planning on keeping the car I have currently. I just want to upgrade what I have subs and radio and then when my car finally dies, put the shit into a new car. Unless it's worth doing the "Big 3" anyways??
  19. I'm looking for hard hitting bass that could break a rib. And SPL.
  20. A kenwood amp. it's 500 wrms at 4ohms and 900 wrms at 2ohms per channel. I'm running it a 4 ohms though. It's actually a pretty nice amp. the model is in my signature.
  21. I just looked and they are actually about $450 a piece for the t2's.
  22. I'm not too concerned about speakers right now but I'm mainly looking for a new seet of subwoofers and a head unit. And a good wiring kit because I am currently suffering from voltage drops and I feel bad for my amp. lol.
  23. First and foremost, this is my virgin post. Just to give a little background, I live in a small town and I've only been in a couple other vehicles with systems that were only beginner systems because it's just not that big where I live. I've been in the car audio game for about a year and I spend most of my free time just looking at car audio on the internet. I'm super passionate when it comes to car audio and I'm always looking to learn something new and I always make sure I got my facts straight before I even open my mouth. But anyways, the point I'm trying to get at here is I'm ready to upgrade my system, But the only other brand subs I've experienced in person besides mine where Sony XPLODS, one of them bazooka party packs, and a blown JL W0. I have about $800 to spend on upgrading my subs and head unit and I'm just looking for some specific recomendations to get the best bang for my buck. I personally was looking at some Rockford Fosgate P3's. Thanks for looking!
