  1. Title says it all. Which would you choose if you going for loud and violent in the cabin. If I do the 10's it'll be sealed off from the trunk tuned to 32hz. If I do the one 18" it'll be a quarter/half wall built up in the backseat tuned to 30hz. That would be cool but I've talked to a few professionals and they mentioned that my lows wouldn't come through as well if I did the 18 in the back seat since I have such a small cabin and not alot of airspace. Considering it would be a 6-7 cubic foot box built up in the back.

No matter what happens sub wise. I can get all of the 10's for about the same price range for each one or the 1 18" adds up to basically the same amount vs the 10's.

I'm leaning toward the 10's I know there are alot of brand huggers here. I talked to rusty the other day which was awesome, thank you for taking the time and having a conversation with me, it was enjoyable.

I also talked to Mike Jones today (SPL Legend) Authorized DD Dealer. That is where I would get the DD 10's.

I have 1200 watts at 1 ohm to work with right now. Goal, loud and violent in the cabin. Hurts in the chest, removes the air from your lungs. That's the goal here. Quality is also a factor but I can't imagine it would be a huge difference between box's and where I placed them. The port will be the appropriate size per box and so. Custom box built either way I go.

    So recap

    1. (2) DD 1500 10" Subs

    2. (2) DC Level 3 10" Subs

    3 (1) DC Level 4 18" Sub with Level 5 coils.

Opinions please - this will be the deciding factor the pictures and videos you will get when complete. Keep that in mind. Thank you if you take the time to read this!

  2. I got bored and decided to go make a video. Link and embedded below.

Comments are much appreciated. I know it's nothing special but decent for 1 12" on about 600 watts or so. New sexy Stinger Voltage meter installed and calibrated. Not bad for a stock alt and shitty wal-mart battery.

Shitty quality, it will be full high definition when it's done processing.

    Enjoy

  3. Looks like a great build! Intel and Nvidia all the way! Don't let others try to sway you to other companies like AMD and ATI it's just cheap junk.

Post pictures when you finish building the beast.

Edit: only thing I noticed is you have two really beast video cards and a CPU that might bottleneck it a little. The better the CPU the better with big SLI builds.

  4. The video explains it all basically. I finally tossed that shitty Kenwood Amp that wasnt producing anywhere near what it was rated at. Anyways, let me know what you think.

Its a constant work in progress and only a start for now. Nothing near what some of the systems on here are. But it's basically my first still. I'm going to either add another Type R or go with one 15 that will handle more power, I would like your opinion if you have one for me.

    Thanks for watching.

  5. :fing34: that looks good to me all so look at the http://www.impactguns.com/store/049533310231.html

You are better off putting the gun to your head! If you want a gun to work when you need it why would you even consider spending that amount of money. You should expect nothing from that gun when it comes time to use it other then a jammed shell in the chamber and a WTF look on your face.

Invest in your safety, if you want to protect your family from things and your willing to use lethal force then get a gun worth what your family is to you because when it comes time to actually use it lethally then you would expect for it to work and work well. Don't buy any cheap shit unless you don't care. It will just be as effective as your kids air soft gun, and we all know those are not going to do much.

  6. If your house is a tight small house with small hallways and really tight corners. You will want a handgun unless you think you can move a 4 foot gun around those corners quick enough then go with a shotgun. Unless you plan on spending on a nice shotgun with a short barrel and a pistol grip. Otherwise go with a nice handgun 9mm or .40 cal you don't need much bigger then that.

It does not matter what caliber as long as your a good shot. Any caliber with the right placement will put someone on the ground without a problem.

Glock & sig sauer make really great handguns both used by the police and military daily. Easy to shoot, light. comfortable in the hand. Easy to reload and you can also use many attachments on them.

Plus if someone is in your house you don't want to be the one making the noise with your shotgun and loading it. You want to be the one that is concealed and quiet and then you can take them to the ground and place your rounds in their chest and then call the police.

Handguns are easy to conceal anywhere on your body and alot harder to take away from you then a big 4 foot shotgun.

Let me know you have any other questions man.
