  1. So I just got my Nikon D3100 that does Full 1080p HD video. It's sweet!! Check out the quality of this video and let me know what you think. Just a little bass for ya.. Oh and for the people that are going to comment about the rattle.. It is deadened with 2 rolls of audiowrap and 2 cans of expanding foam. It's missing a bolt in the bumper and it's almost impossible to find.. Thanks, - GBS

  3. stay the fuck away from the 325e...the "e" is for economy, and it was designed as a fuel efficient alternative to the sportier NEW 325i (fuel injected)...the "e" is carbureted , but only with a single carb, and it's a 2 bbl. the older 325 (no letter following) used 2 or 3 2bbl carbs, depending on the year. it only has about 95hp brand new...at this point it will probably put out about 75hp. that thing wouldn't get out of its own way I am somewhat of a BMW connoisseur (We should chat sometime! I love these cars to death!) I love my BMW's, and will probably always have one. I've had everything from a 1982 320 Aplina, to a 1994 530i (the first BMW V8) to several M3's, my 633CSi and 1985M6, and my current 335i convertible (that hard top convertible is fuggin sick) with the Vishnu piggyback. Like I said...I LOVE my BMW's (I simply refuse to call them Bimmers...it's just to shitty sounding) to clarify for everyone not familiar with them...Bimmer is the car, Beemer is the motorcycle If I understood you correctly you said the 1986 BMW 325e has a carb? (incorrect) I've had to replace the injectors. (1 owner car since 86') I have it sitting outside still. Blew the timing chain at 498k miles. Almost made 500k but I was stupid with it. It's very fuel efficient you are correct. All E30 BMW's are extremely efficient. The 86' 325e came with 121hp and 119 ft/lbs torque from the lot (US model, not euro)The 86' was one of the cheaper models to fix. It didn't have all the plastic bumpers and bodywork. It was basically all steel bumpers and wasnt the pretty version but it was efficient and did drive everywhere you needed it to. It would start in 20 below weather when my moms 2005 Chevy Malibu wouldn't even think about it. I did the entire suspension including labor and parts, springs, shocks, struts for $590. Might I add I did nothing. I dropped it off and picked it up done and paid cash. No special insurance or anything. You just have to find a good mechanic who likes working on the E30's and it's not very expensive. I've had 3 of them and they are incredible cars. I will never buy another car make. Might I add one more thing. I pay for everything myself, my parents do not give me any money for parts or the car. I'm only 18. They are very affordable cars for what you will get out of them. Buy it, end of story! Sorry for the book as well. But it's a topic that I love. I would never say stay away from any BMW except the upper 90's 540i's (big head issues and a huge recall was done but about 30% of the cars were only repaired) Not counting the 86' which we've had in our family since 86' my dad and I have owned 4 BMW's in the past 2 years. 88' 325i Convertible, great ride, cheap to repair (timing belt and water pump + labor for $280). 92' 525i little more luxury, smooth ride, fast, big engine, more expensive to fix then the 88'. 95' 325i bought it and sold it 8 weeks later, trash, too expensive to repair, will never buy again. And now my current 89' 325i, almost perfect condition, fun as hell to drive especially with the short shift kit and exhaust done. Good luck man. They are great cars and there are plenty of parts around from people that collect them. I can guarantee you that you will spend more repairing an American car then you would over the lifetime of the BMW. My mom has spend more on her 2005 Malibu then I have and her car only has 56k on it. No accidents. All replacement parts that just went out. Poor quality control. - GBS
  4. LG LED LE5400 series. 42", can be had for $900 at any local Best Buy. Great picture quality, no glare from windows or other lighting. Good sound from the built in speakers. 4 HDMI Ports, pc, components, heat sensitive buttons on the screen to turn it on so you don't have a actual button that sticks out. They dim away until you touch them. LOOKS awesome with Blu-Ray. Thinner then alot of the newest Samsung LED's. I mounted mine on my wall and it's very light and easy to mount with a tilt mount or full motion. Very solid design. Great TV for the money. I work at Best buy in the Home Theater department and I hang around all these new TV's all day long. A lot of fun and alot of good opinions and information from other customers that have taken other TV's home. We sell more Samsung's and LG then anything else. I would never touch a Sony for the price. You pay for the name instead of the TV. Sharps 4 pixel marketing scam is bullshit. They look alright but nothing like they should for the money. Let me know what you end up going with. Take some pictures when you get it home! Hope this helps a little. - GBS
  5. Me and a friend decided to go out to the local range around Lubbock and do some trap today. Here are some videos. I'm Blake, my friend is Cody. Remington 870 is mine the over and Under is his. 6. I just got my oil changed on Monday. Used Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic and a nice Mobil 1 Oil filter. I bought all 5 quarts and the oil filter for $37 at your local O'Reilys. They are having a sale. I would check and see if your local auto parts shop has a current sale and get what you need then take it to a shop and have it done for about $10. Saves a lot of money with the same outcome. Overall, big noticeable difference. Starts better, drives smoother, a little better acceleration. Overall way worth it! - GBS
  7. EoTech is the only choice when your looking for optics in the type they offer. If your looking for more of a long range then go with a Trijicon Tri-Power. Incredible scopes. I've shot many many rounds down range with one on top of the LWRC M6A4 and if you have it adjusted correctly and some good ammo expect to see a couple inch grouping at 200+ yards no question. They are both incredible. The rifle helps alot though haha. If your looking for a new rifle look down range to LWRC and there 6.8 chambered rifles. They are no joke. Expensive but some series punch. - GBS
  8. Yea I know adjustments to the settings and adding different things and removing different things to the box. But braiding wires like you just said. WTF? haha I laughed at him.
  9. He just showed me a video of a system. Happened to have a DC sub in it. It wasn't anything related to the wires. The kid was just maxing out his gain on his amp and calling it tweaking. Fucking idiots these days. Half the reason this car audio industry is shit is because the wannabe gangstas with there 2 12's off 5000 watts and a maxed out amp thinking that there this slams. It pisses me off how dumb people can be. I told him not to do that and he still thinks that it's the only way to get loud. Happy smelly coils and amps. That will be a good day.
  10. Haha I guess that is the only thing I can do. But you know that feeling you get when you just feel sorry for the uneducated idiots that will just believe anything that they hear from their buddy that has 4 Kicker comps in a sealed prefab off 5000 watts When in real maybe there getting like 80 watts a sub. I told him the only thing I could think of that could be like that would be to change the impedance by wiring it in parallel or series. But he reasurred me that his buddy was right and tweaking was something real. Whatever haha.
