  1. yeah your fucked. when you dont change the trans fluid every 25-30k the metal shavings inside start to wear at the transmission at 150k the gears have almost no grab at all the shavings give the gears friction at this high of mileage to keep going. noone knows to change the trans fluid often.

Well i am going to talk to a shop tomorrow to see what my options are...

Im just going to start saving for my plan for a rebuild and hope for the best...

  2. Did that link help at all?

It helped some... I am going to re read through it all tomrrow but i just got off the phone and the previous owner said that he put 150k on the jeep and never change the transmission fluid.

So i am going to pursue that first. I really hope that between this and getting the bands tightened fixes it. If it does that will save me $600 to rebuild the trans.

  3. Yeah that is chitty hommie kinda like when someone bites your language style and tries to claim it like their own. What did the guy do that worked on it? Cause just changing the fluid wouldn't cause anything to fucc up worse than it was before. Maybe he did something to it when he worked on it?

Said he changed the governor pressure switch... what ever that is.

I am about to just go to a shop and have them take the jeep for a test drive and see whats up.

  4. you got a filter in there youll have to change also, but if its slipping idt servicing it will fix it

I know the gasket and filter is $20

    Na man its not slipping...

I know that for a fact...

Its like when i am accelerating when it shifts into 2nd it will jump from right around 1100 RPM's up to 2k and then right back down to where is was and keep on going like nothin ever happened. Has been doing it sense we bought it.

  5. Ok you guys i finally found a video showing what my trans is doing. Watch and when the jeep shift into 2nd the RPM's JUMP and go back to normal

Now this guys said he changed the trans fluid and something else and it fixed it? SO anyone know what may be the problem and if changing the fluid can really fix it?

    Thanks

  6. With the route he's going of pissing off family with bass, I sure hope he doesn't turn into one of those people who bump their shit full tilt at a red light, windows down.

Dude chill the fuck out he is 14...

I know when i was at that age (as i am sure most of us was) if my shit didnt piss off the rents it was not loud enough...

All i am saying is take it easy... He will learn...

  7. sound like a sales man, or you really like rockford

You canz buy mez speakas for 200 :) lol. My brother has the crescendos. They sound pretty good IMO. Mine are a lot louder but his are just installed in factory location so can't really compare them for that. His also lack midbass right now but I think it's because of them being behind the door panel.

Pm me bro.. So i can get to it when i can. I may buy them both but one set at a time... Just depends really.
