  1. That's what i expected however i tried it and when I had the o-scope hooked up off the amp with the amp gains turned down I played the test tones and it didn't clip at all. Even when I turned it up to 35 (maximum volume). I guess thats why I'm confused.

Hook up your oscope to the RCAs running to your amp and play the test tone till your single clips, slowly increasing the volume, if it dont clip and you have it cranked all the way up then you HU wont be sending a clipped single. If it does start to clip, note what volume it starts to clip at and make a mental note not to turn it up past that. Then set you amp gains accordingly

  2. Resin it's self is not strong. You need to glass and resin if you want strength. Your best bet would be to do the whole thing with fglass and make it look good. Hell, you could custom mount a few tvs or speaker/tweets if you wanted.. possibilities are endless.

I have already thought about the tweets, also i have decided to fiberglass that whole thing and paint it. Have not seen something like that around here. I just have to figure out how to remove the seat belts.

  3. headliners are a little more difficult to work with cuz they cant really get too heavy (unless you can bolt it directly to the roof). wastehog is right. if you want the whole thing to be structurally sound, you have to use both glass and resin. just resin would be adding unnecessary weight. but to be honest with you, your not really gonna be saving a whole lot of money. after you get through buying all the materials, glassing can be a pretty expensive way to go.

Well and new headliner board at the is going to run $250, the local junkyard have tons of jeeps but none that have a DECENT headliner. Also my buddy has 1 gallon of resin to give me, so that covered just got to get the fiberglass mat.

  4. Okay my headliner broke and i am going to fiberglass the breaks so i wont be out a lot of money. Then i had the idea to go ahead and fiberglass THE WHOLE headliner board, sand, paint, and make it one of a kind.

My buddy said that i only have to fiberglass the breaks, i can just resin the rest.

SO my question should i fiberglass everything, or do i just put on some resin?

I think fiberglassing the whole thing will look better

    Thoughts?!

  5. Well guys after looking the headliner board i discovered that on both sides there is a 6 inch break so its close to braking in half. I have decided to go the FIBERGLASS route. I am going to fix the break with fiberglass and resin. Then turn around and fiberglass the whole under side. Prolly paint it to match the paint outside or to match the interior idk yet. So if you know where to get some fiberglass mat cheap let me know. AUTOZONE has 8sq ft for 5.99 anything cheaper even online let me know THANKS!

  6. Okay my headline was falling down, so i went and picked up some glue so i could take out my headliner and re-glue it, well when i took out the headliner it literally crumbled and i have no idea what to do.

There is more but i didnt feel like taking more pics. So i already know i am leaving it out, but any ideas on what i should put in it place. Serious ideas only. Something that not going to cost a shit ton.
