  1. I used that exact tablet everyday @ work... They are EXTREMELY STRONG, I mean its hard to understand how strong they are!! I've dropped mine from my ambulance, and strecher 100 times, and dropped it from Fire truck, hospital beds, you name it, I dropped it. Everything is still 100% on that tank. YOur paying like a 2000$ premium for the skull that thing has. Excellent build quality!

    This^^^

My uncle who is a project manager for a construction company uses this for his everyday computer.

Said he wouldnt think twice about dropping 2k on another one.

BTW he dropped his from a 2nd story window into his truck bed before and it didnt leave a mark

  2. hey bro im in the same boat as you right now (being 19 and have no credit to speak of) most places wont give me a card, i spoke to a credit repair guy that we do business with at work and he was telling me the best thing to do is to get both a secured loan and a secured card. try to put about a grand in each one and within 6months- a year your credit should be high enough to get a real card. orchard bank is a good one to get your credit started

Weird, it seems as if every time I go to the bank they try giving me another one

Im pretty sure mine would to but sense my bank charged off the account, They reported that shit and its on my credit score

Thanks man, That lets me know that i am at least heading in the right direction. I have a bank but havnt looked at it sense i lost my job. Going to make sure that its still in good standing and see whats up there.

good luck to you bro its a pain in the ass in todays market

Yea it is, I just called my bank and they charged it off because it was in overdraft for 60+ days which i did not know about, After looking into it further, My buddy informed me that they have a account fee that they prolly charged to my account which put it in overdraft thus fuckin me in the ass.

So looks like come monday i am off to the branch to see what i can do to pay it off.

Thanks for all the help everyone.

  5. my first Credti card was through my bank. it was the easiest to get.

I use my credit card fairly frequently. it has a rewards program so all my big purchases go on it. I dont use it unless I can just pay it off after the balance hits. Right now Im trying to boost my credit score so ive been making slower payments. Ive been stuck on a 730 for almost a year.

In one of the credit card applications it said that my score was 351 or something close to that which i have no idea why.

Equifax came up clean, Trans Union and Experian i couldn't look at last night because it said my info was incorrect.

  6. Well apparently i dont qualify. Im assuming its has something to do with my credit score which said was just down right retarded low and i have no idea why its so damn low being only 19.

So i guess the next thing im going to look into is a secured credit card were i front a down payment and that is basically my credit limit. Then they report my activity to the credit bureaus and raise my credit score.

  7. pretty much what was said. No fees and low APR. Credit cards get a REALLY bum rap because they are abused so often. Yes the companies do what they can to lure people into thinking they can pay $10 a month for that sweet ass TV and what not. Managing your spending with credit cards (especially those cards that offer rewards) can be a very good thing to do. The thing to watch out for is spending more on credit cards than you can pay off. If you can't pay it in cash, don't buy it. You mentioned emergencies and you have to be careful with those, pretty soon buying a 60" TV turns into an emergency. Best bet is to set aside a chunk of cash to take care of those emergencies. I know that isn't always possible and it is certainly plausible to use a credit card in an actual emergency, just be sure to figure that in when deciding how much you can spend on the credit card.

TLDR version: be really careful with them, don't spend more than you have :)

    Thanks brad

  8. Ok guys i know this is off the wall but recently i have been informed that my transmission is on its wat out, That along with other thing has me wanting to get a credit card to build my credit up.

For starters im not stupid, Im not someone going on a spending spree. I would be using it strictly for emergency use (transmission) and small monthly purchases (after transmission repairs are paid off) that i KNOW i can pay off in a month such as gas or my monthly bills.

My question is what should i look out for in a credit card?

I know the lower the purchase APR the better but what else should i be on the lookout for.

Like i said this is just to help get my credit built up where i want it and be able to get my transmission fixed

Transmission is going to cost me $1400 which i would have off my card in 6 months or less.

Just something i have been thinking about, I know a lot of people tell me to avoid credit cards like the plague, But with responsible use and a good plan i figured it can help me out in the long run.

  9. hmmm let me think on this one i'll come up with something for ya... :D

ok got it... use just one end of the flare inside the box and the non flared end to the top....make your own flare using fiberglass and resin... to downsize the flare ... and wa la.. it'll be permant.. no screws..

Ill have to look into that It was also suggested i sand or round over the holes on top and then sink the areo down a little and then i can do what you suggested for the flare.

    I might do that.

  11. Some people fuse right before the secondary battery too. I do not. Fusing right after the starting battery should work out just fine. Diagram looks fine man. What brand wire are you looking to run?

I have a 15 foot run of raptor 1/0 already from a friend, and I was just gonna grab a 25 ft spool of bullz from ebay for the grounds.

never heard of that brand make sure its marked AWG so you know its true 1/0

  12. Blowthrough. Be a man. :)

    X's 10 !

WAY back in the beginning of my box building days, I spent a lot of time, and a good chunk of $$, building at least 3 boxes for the cab of an S10, regular cab.... seats slid up 2 or 3 notches and everything > and they all sucked ! Finally I did a blow through... once for 2 10"s, next for two 12"s, and finally 4 12"s, and all of those sounded great !

If I didn't have a Supercab, 1/2 ton, with no rear seats, I wouldn't have to think twice aout doing another blow through...... but I managed to get 7.5 cubes net (almost 10 cubes gross) for my pair of 15"s in cab ;)

    Peace,

    Fish

Thanks for commenting fish, Honestly i want to do a blow through, but for now i just want something simple and decent sounding until i can find a job to buy some decent equipment for a blow through dirol.gif
