  1. I have a 1500 watt kicker in my closet idk what's wrong with it, it plays when it want to.. someone said its not getting enough power even though all I have is 4 gauge wires

like i said the aq2200 is 389 and it will put out 2500rms on good electrical im sure, plus it has a clipping indicator (not sure how accurate it is though) but its a nice bonus

honestly never seen an amp not work du to not enough power, ive seen people have 2000rms amps and only using few hundred watts from it if that, and many amps will run down to 10-11 v without issue although rms loss of course, but could be something shorting out in it maybe, i dont know much about troubleshooting amps

  2. is that under 600 dollars? in case it is here are some suggestions

so many good amps under that price

    i think a powerbass 4k is around 600

aq2200 is 389 puts out more than 2200 with good electrical of co

crescendo3k is 550 but out of stock right now, but may be one on ebay

may be able to get a sundown 2500 i think it is under 600 if you look around

I thought sundown an aq were super expensive I just found out about them two amps from watching clips on youtube..if ur familiar with the 03 impala do u think it will sound right with 4 or should I jus do 3 in a custom ported box

sundown is quite expensive for many including myself, but you get high quality with that, but thats why i said look for a used one

aq is very affordable compared to the price you pay for what you get out of the amp, i think aq has some of the best price vs performance amps available

  3. yea brock really should round his game out ,more before being a coach, but this will prolly turn into a rampage jackson thing, but you never now

i like brock, but he bucks f he gets two consecutive hits on him, except for ground pound, he doesnt have much game, hes he was a wrestler, but he hasnt used it much in ufc

What are you talking about? Besides his loss to Cain, Brock has demolished everybody he has fought. He got subbed once and avenged that loss. He took a tremendous amount of punishment in the first round of the Carwin fight to come back and win. He has won every fight he has had due to his wrestling! What does he need to do to make people take him seriously? Beat the most decorated heavyweight in UFC history?....he already did that.

brock has beaten everyone i understand and hes great at what he does, b ut like i said he has barely utilized his wrestling, he has just tried to ground and pound everyone, he didnt get tested until shane carwin and shane was destroying brock, brock couldnt stand up to shane so he used a bit of ground game and submitted shane, again in the fight with cain brock was tested, any fight where brock has really bee n punched a few times, he buckles quick, i just want him to use more wrestling and round out his game more, hes has abused his size and strength a nd is forgetting basic wrestling and other tactics that would make him more well rounded, getting stuck in an ankle lock is an amateur move but not if your a national wrestling champ, you should know beter to leave yourself open so easily, hes getting better every fight but i want to seem him add some skills to his repertoire

and before you say im hating on brock because he used to be a wwe wrestler or anything else, brock is one of my favorite ufc fighters, he needs to learn form his defeat from cain and work on his defensive capabilities and ground game, and more technical striking rather than pounding people with those canned hams, even though ti works, it doesnt hurt to have more aspects to your game

my all time favorite is fedor emalianenko, but hes not in ufc and may never be

  4. the rating thing mainly applied to older gen cpus, because amd ran at a higher fsb (front-side bus) than intel normally, but intels base processing speed was normally higher, however they did away with fsb so now the major difference is the way they use their L2/L3 cache

    besides of course price

in most things you get what you pay for, however it does mean as much here as it would for choosing something like subwoofer brands, because there is basically only 2 cpu manufacturers amd and intel, there are other ones but their market share is so insignificant its not worth bothering with

as i am sure you have seen if you have checked prices, most of the time intel runs a lot more expensive, its normally the first to make the new technology though as well as normally having higher capable speeds

amd gears their stuff towards the poorer market, although their cpus are good too, they too have some higher end one

performance wise, most people will not tell much difference with similar rated cpu's, they are bench mark tests that show side by side results, but for the typical end user they wont notice, because the difference is normally just a few seconds

they both also do turbo (overclocking) differently, of course this has the chance of reducing the lifespan of the processor, some of the newer intels will auto-turbo if there is a greater load on the cpu rather than letting someone overclock it manually, even though there are ways around it

last i checked amd had a 6 core processor out, however intels similarly priced quad core was actually faster, now you still need to take into account that 6 cores doing the same work as 4 cores can get the job done easier, however overall speed and efficiency still play a big role, basically for 20 dollars more you could have a faster intel processor

there are people who claim horror stories with both brands, but those stories normally end up being very minimal in occurrence, its not like subs where their are companies that always produce what most think is crap, both brands hold up well

i use intel in my laptop and amd in my desktop, not for any reason mainly just i got a good deal, if i was on a budget amd is def the way to go, you sacrifice some performance based on which cpu you get, but most intel cpus are much more expensive than amd

another thing to think about, amd had a 4 core processor which thanks to the mass production place, had a failed core, so they decided, well we should just focus these towards a new market as 3 core processors, which does fill a gap for those who want better than 2 but cant afford 4 core cpus, great marketing, turning something bad into a new market, but what to think about here is also, has intel ever had a mass cpu or core failure, not really

another thing to look at is the transistor size, smaller the transistors the faster the cpu can work, the newer intel i5 and i3 cpus have 32nm processes im not sure if they added that to the i7 or not, but that means each physical process form transistor to transistor is .000000032 of a meter wide, you can fit tons of these on the end of a hair, lol

i think last i saw amd had 45nm process, but its been 6months since i looked and 6 months is the transition point for most electronic technology

in the end is basically falls to preference and cost

personally if i can afford it ill get an intel, granted it will perform better than a similar priced amd, there are many specs to look at

however the last time i planned on custom building a computer i did have an amd picked out for my cpu, but i havent actually built that laptop, il be building it next month, so i will have to check and see where they are both standing on various factors for myself to decide

also: based on video card preference, amd typically works with ati and intel typically works with nvidia,to be honest ive never bothered to try cross platform, but i know i prefer nvidia for cards, but again its the same story with intel and amd, all about price vs cost and performance

  5. You may be able to try this

If you know how to, get the hdd out and hook it up to a computer with an older bios that doesnt support the drive-lock (its a new feature on newer computers) since its not available on an older bios, you may be able to get around it and at least access the hdd, if this happens you can probably get a new os installed on it which would get rid of all current settings on the hdd, or so it should

There is a cd I use for various tools which is called Ultimate Boot CD

    http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/

It should have a program called something like password tool 1.1, which can apparently unlock harddrives, i have never come across a locked hd so i havent tried this, use this at own risk

  6. the only time i say i can get something instead of what someone else has, is when they say they only want a budget system and they think they gotta get it from walmart and then are mad cause it doesnt put out or they swear its the best thing since sliced bread

a lot of people just dont know about many of the better brands or what they offer so they dont know what they can get, and they believe mass marketing hype
