i still suggests sticking to 1ohm, and getting a really good h/o alt or two and nice batteries and more in the back and def big 3 all 1/0 gauge at least

that takes great electrical and lots of batteries to keep that stable and i dont think many would do that for daily use
id stay 1 ohm for daily use

The AQ bends the AP over. Aq can do .5 daily and at that load, can easily whip the shit out of the Ap.

Did anyone else notice this? Why the hell are you telling him the AQ can run .5 daily? He clearly stated he has a budget, and in order to run ANY amp at .5 ohm daily, you've got to have a beefy electrical. This is another example of noobs giving noobs dumbass advice. OP, yes AQ will give you cleaner power, but PLEASE, don't listen to the post stated above. At your experience, I wouldn't run any amp at .5 ohm. Not being a dick, just giving you precious advice.
I'd say his telling the op that the aq can do .5 daily is a testament to the quality and durability of the amp, not a recommendation to op of how to use them.
OP: the aq is an under rated amp that can easily do over 1400 wrms. the AP is an over rated amp that needs 14.5 volts to get close to it's 1500 wrms rating. You can't really go wrong either way, i just hope you understand WHAT you are buying before you buy it.
Well by the looks of it, I'm going with the AQ. People tell me its better, so in my mind now, its better. If I'm building a system, might as well build it right first

i too have seen lots of noobs giving advice, ive been one of them, im noob i just try to regurgitate the appropriate information
i honestly think for most people 1 ohm daily is as low as it should go and ive heard many others say that, mainly for safety of the amp, cause most people cant support the electrical needed to keep it there safely and without clipping

To be 100% honest, I was going to run it at 1 ohm? I think? I hope so? Thats what people tell me to do. LOL. Thanks for correcting the misunderstanding.
good listening, be careful who you listen too, maui wasnt trying tog et you to do .5 ohms, i thin he was stating capabilities, but 1 ohm should be fine for your setup and should sound great

i think he was mroe trying to statge the capabiities rather than telling the OP he should run it at that
in OPs original thread kranny told the OP he should get dual 4 ohms and run it at 1 ohm, so im hoping he keeps that advice and doesnt go for .5, lol

AP or audiopipe has been around a while, most people ive sen go for the ap1500 or ap3000 but besides that i havent heard much else out of them and almost everytime i see someone asking about quality amps that can do between 1000-2000 i almost always see people say aq1200 or aq2200, they are great quality amps for the price, there are better ones around but as always you pay for quality, aq is a fairly good balance of price to quality

the aq is rated at 1200 but it can do more than that with good electrical
like i said on the first reply in your other thread, aq1200 would be great for those 12s, an extra 150 watts per sub is not worth the quality aq will give you over ap, this is what i think
Notice you said good electrical .. Uh oh. LOL. I was going to run it on a stock, then eventually buy a battery for the back. So... We shall see how this goes
Thanks for the advice and help, really appreciate it !im sure you will be fine on stock for what you want, im just saying people have clamped the amp at higher than rated, by running clean pow2er with good electrical, basically it will do whats needed for your subs, but upon being able to afford the big 3 or better alt, this will help the amp perform much better
