  1. agreed for the most part

although regardless of how much oil wed have, america will not lower its gas prices too much, we may go back down to 2-2.50 per gallon thats prolly cheapest it would get

once people have budgeted their wallets to afford 3 bucks - 4 bucks per gallon, government wont see a need to readjust it much

we used to say dang its 2 per galloon, now we are like yes its 3 per gallon, now i got some extra cash, lol

  2. its possible the connector to the mother board is connected but the power supply may have become disconnected, but thats highly doubtful in a laptop, would take quite a jolting for that to happen, they arent normally able to just loosely fall out overtime

did you by chance update the firmware for the disc drive, sometimes when flashing the firmware it can become corrupt and as far as the computer knows its not even there

when you boot up and go into the bios is it listed as a drive on the computer, does it give you an option to boot form that drive.

try going on the net to the laptop manufacturer and just to be safe look up the cd/dvd driver that came factory installed on your computer and download and install that again, maybe a reg file got corrupt and its not recognizing the issue

  3. For PCs, alienware is as good as it gets without completely going custom. There are parts offered to alienware computers that most other computers do not have offered to them unless you buy the parts individually and build yourself. Although since dell owns alienware now, it seems like a flashy dell product than its old alienware glory

its really more of a status now being able to say hey, i had an extra 1000 dollars to own an alienware when i could have saved 1500 by build it myself and having a ultra powerful pc

id go alienware if i got a sweet deal on a used one, but would never go full price, im all about custom building pcs, and i mean buying the parts separate and building yourself, custom building does not mean choosing from a list of products and letting them build it for you, thats custom choosing, lol

  5. that sounds awesome, yea my dad was in the army for a few years, i think he can get VA benefits

how would i go about starting to look to see what we could do

right now i just have a small car and its tough trying to fit the wheelchair in the trunk, its an extra wide one, and then its tough for my dead to get out of it, i kind of have to pull him out of the car and right into wheelchair, i cant afford a larger vehicle right now and his medicare/medicaid wont pay for the wheelchair accessory for the back of the car

  6. I am selling my 2tb external harddrive, it is less than a month old. I am selling because I let my bro borrow some money to pay his insurance and now I cannot afford my subs, so I am selling some stuff to hopefully buy them.

i should have shut screen down before taking picture but i think everything can be seen alright

above is the link to the harddrive on best buy its listed as 109.99, I am hoping to sell it for 100 shipped, i still have the box it came in, along with the usb cable. Right now the only thing on it is my entire harddrive backed up, but if this sells i will reformat the drive to factory, it has an available 1.8 terabytes on it, hopefully i dont have to explain why its only 1.8 tb available and not the full 2tb, but if you dont understand send me a message and ill let ya know of a few reasons why that is that way

besides that, it has an external power source which i always keep plugged in and a usb adapter which i also always keep plugged in, i had it set to auto back up so one reason i never shut it off

no installation required once you plug it in your computer, the computer should recognize what it is automatically, grantedc you have windows xp or higher, this i believe will work on mac but will need to be reformatted to work on mac

    price is 100 shipped

    thanks

  7. i recently bought some fuses and fuse holders from splzx3 transaction was quick and since i bought them on the weekend, he mailed them at beginning of the week, i received today on saturday

everything was good, but i didnt get a tracking number, i think usps makes you pay little extra for a tracking number not sure, but i know you get them, i just bought some wiring from knukoncepts and it came via usps and i had a tracking number the next day after i ordered

but all went well, no worries, would do business again

he was also helpful in some questions i had

    thank you splzx3

  8. i filled up other day at 3.38 but next day it shot up to 3.65

i got a 14.4 gal tank get about 25 mpg on highway prolly 18 in town, it lasts a little over a week

iu also only get gas at krogers, besides the fact that i do all my shopping there and get the gas discount, it is also the last place in my town to raise gas prices, basically if every gas stations raises its prices kroger wont change theirs until the next morning, theres another gas stations by my school which is also the last full service gas station in town, and they also wait an extra day to change prices, they normally have a line of people that stretches around the corner on a major highway, the turn lane for the intersecting road is normally taken up by people going to the gas station, sadly some people dont realize this and wait in that turn lane forever

had a friend sitting in the turn lane for 35min thinking it was just a rush hour, and then realized he was in the gas station line once he got closer, lol

  9. you can get a decent setup for 1000

    mine is

    subs: 250

    amp: 250

    wire: 150

    battery: 120

770 + enclosure materials i havent bought yet, and it will be 2k rms system with a realistic 1500rms give or take...hopefully

as for equipment, aq1200d or aq2200d are both great quality underrated ampos for the price, an y number of copanies such as fi, dc audio, sundown, t3 audio, all have decent equipment that can fit within your range
