i got mine from pwk, not sure where else to get them, mine goes from 10 - 100 i believe, something like that
-
i havent seen a lot, bvut i love single sub setups that can hit that 150 barrier, as long as they are musical as well, im not big on pure burp systems, but sounds like this guy could do music prolly
-
awesome little 10 that is, lol
-
I have a rockford fosgate prime 500-1 im looking to sell, hoping to get 100 out of it plus shipping, i think birthsheet was 527 rms at 2ohm, its mono but has the terminals bridged internally, n ot sure if thats how other mono amps are
i do not have original box, birth sheet, or bass knob however
-
i could be wrong but i believe the x line at least was pushed back a lot because the build house for many of the parts was destroyed in the japan earthquake
-
in terms of matching subs to properly power amps and help with enclosures, i dont see a problem with asking questions
but dont come on here and just say tell me what clipping is and such, thats the main problem people have with new members, cause they come on here and expect people to jsut tell them everything, without them making an effort to learn it
ive been reading this forum of 1.5 years and i still havent done a proper install, mostly cause of money, and i have had systems before, but never a complete install that ive been able to say i did by myself, but read read read and learn learn learn
oh and im a super noob, sorry i cant help with your original question, disclaimer is in sig
-
i got mine from pwk's website, its basically the same thing, except the first 4 tracks or so are some songs, the test tones start on like 10 and go up to 80, and i think it has a 1khz tone too

This is only my 3rd time using Sketch-Up and also my third time designing a Quaterwave T-line. Thought Id make a little vid while I was designing it in Sketch_Up. I know I need to work on a few things and I am still not too versed in the program, but Im learning and having fun with it.
Original vid is 9 minutes long almost exactly, however it is being played at 4x speed so that is not so long and boring. Song being played is Loui by Ronald Jenkees.

Close up images and nfurther info can be found in the t-line thread here

looks alright, the welding cable i use is from trystar, or the coppercableman on ebay, its about $3 per foot, unless i missed it, the welding cable i have has another jacker around the welding cable besides the main outside one, cant remember what its for though, but both seem to be OFC and good deal
i know my stuff is plenty flexible, ive seen people say welding cable isnt flexible enough, but mine is alright, and the ability to custom print something on every foot of your cable is a little added bonus

Im in kokomo
i know 2000lade is in lafayette even though he got banned from SMD
still trying to get a demo form him though
this is a good thread, not really many around me that knows a whole lot, and im a super noob myself

jsut be happy you have an egr valve, lol i should have one, but when my step dad replaced the engine, i think he cut the wiring for the egr valve, because i know where it is, but there is nothing that can be found that connects to it in my engine, lol
i definitely noticed the gas mileage drop as well, i used to drive 60 miles back and forth daily, and i could do it in less than 1/4 tank, now its nearly half a tank
i also had my front o2 sensor go out, replaced it with 18 dollar universal, but now my rear o2 is going out and im getting about 10mpg, where i should get about 24 in the city, i used to get 30+ on highway, now i get maybe 20 if im lucky
engine runs like a champ though, never an issue minus the gas mileage thing, sat for 3 years never touched, started right up without changing anything, although i went straight for a tune up once it was started, lol

i agree, what vehicle is it going into, certain box types require more space, so amount of available space would also help, considering it is for some 8s i dont foresee too large of an area available for a box, but i could be wrong
-
i have 7 tabs open right now, and never have less then 4 tabs open, my laptop is on 24/7 never shut down, and firefox 4 never runs over 300k, but my laptop is quite beastie
-
i ran my fi 12 on like 300 watts, sounded good, it was in a larger sealed enclosure, however i personally prefer ported over sealed
-
Since your semi retarded, ill let that one fly.
Call it a freebie
lol, wow freebies from ray, thats alright
-
my system once i buy the subs will be around 850 or so, and its 1krms+ id throw that in budget range, but i could be wrong
-
now that i think about it maybe a confusion with dvc 6x9 would just be a 6x9 with a tweeter and one terminal is for the 6x9 and the other is for the tweeter, im not sure, just never seen one
ive seen a few dodge stock systems, most car brands use same audio components throughout many vehicles and never seen anything other than basic svc 4 or 8 ohm speakers, like i said could be wrong, just not seen it around here
-
i supposed id agree with blackedout, for personal preference, i prefer round speakers, only reason i still run 6x9s is that i dont want to change til i can rebuild my rear deck to accommodate multiple 6s or 8s for midbass
it is nice having beastie little 6x9s sitting in stock location though, lol
-
even beastie ones that i have seen are svc 4, mine have like 70 ounce magnet or something like that and still svc but take like 150-200 easy
-
ive never seen a 6x9 that wasnt SVC, but i dont spend a lot of time looking at 6x9s, just dont know if there is a d4 version
-
audacity as well and of course its free and pretty easy to use

that depends on your needs
laptops change in price weekly just like most other things, there are sales, a lot of it depends on your price range and what you plan to do with it
if you plan to do any sort of graphics or gaming, then do not go to a store like walmart or best buy to get your laptop
do research, find the specs you need to accomplish what you want, then go to manufacturer sites and online companies that let you "configure" your own laptop and see which offers what you want for the best price
most of the time if a laptop or even desktop is "pre-configured" your getting screwed out of a good graphics card or processor (those are the most expensive parts to a computer and about most important) or if its all good equipment, then your gonna pay extra for not configuring it yourself (most of the time)
i personally got my laptop at toshiba direct (after a week of research finding the best deal, i get a discount from dell through school and toshiba still had more power for less)
i do graphic design, so i needed a computer with power to run the graphics programs in the manner i use them, as well as be able to do some gaming, i play crysis and crysis 2 with no trouble where as many of my friends desktops cant even play it very well, if you can play crysis on highest settings, you got yourself a powerful machine
also when helping others find laptops, toshiba has more than not had a better deal for the price
the majority of brands are just that brands, most of them carry the same equipment inside or very similar, however some brands such as sony, you will pay a bit extra just for the name, kind of like alienware, but i personally think alienware has gone downhill in quality since dell bought it
hopefully that helps a bit

what if your alt doesnt put out what the wire can handle, do you only fuse at the alts output or wires rating

i mainly down talked because im not good at the css and such, my main issue is positioning with css right now, for this site i basically set it to be perfectly center at school, so the teacher sees it right, lol
at home i have a higher resolution monitor so on my screen its all the way at the left
im quite good in photoshop, illustrator, indesign, now i am trying to learn dreamweaver and get good at designing web pages
i want to get into graphic design as a career, but i want to be able to add web design into that, i know it would be better if i found someone who specializes in web design, but until i do that, im gonna do what i can by myself
and since i can offer hosting and domain names, that is another market i can get into
just hoping to make some money, lol not much in the town where i live, and i havent had a job in 4.5 years (mostly due to living outside the country)
