Awesome, I could def use a free woofer, but I am no good at impersonations, LOL
But loved the explanation on parallel and series, i always thought parallel was better but never really knew why

i have texted while in the car, but if in car i use speech to text and i only do it at stop lights, if im not someone stopped, i dont even bother with the phone, i have a dash mount so it sits right in front of my face almost, so i hit a button, click speak and then say what i need and say who to text it to, but its rare if i need to text while driving anyways, besides that i dont ever hear anything cause always listening to music, cant hear phone over music

sounds like its gonna be a beastie setup

I did a vector drawing of Hayley Williams from Paramore, it is based of a friend of mine's drawing they did of her, based off a still photo. Illustrator is not my program of choice, but its the best when it comes to vector work, this took me a few hours to do.
Here is the original still image, then the sketch, and then the vector drawing

oscope is the best way, or soon to be steves distortion listener will be good too
but right now since i dont have oscope, i go the DMM route and set it the same way as the above link suggests, so far never had an issue, at the least its better than the ear-o-meter

you will be lucky to get 700-1000 rms out of that amp its not puling 1500 rms per channel or even 750 rms per channel with only 70 amps fusing
but the channels are not bridged internally, so you shoudlnt have an issue wiring them like you want
-
ahh, you got me confused, i thought you were gonna wire the subs in parallel with each other then to the amp, as long as your amp doesnt have b ridged terminals, you can wire each sub by itself in parallel and then each sub to its own channel and get a 2 ohm load
what amp is it though
-
if its a 2 chan at 1500rms, than it would most likely be doing 750 per chan
plus 2 dvc 4 ohm subs wired in parallel would present a 1 ohm load not a 2 ohm and if wired in series gives it 4 ohm load, is there another way you will wire it

recently bought some stuff from boiler, got everything just fine, would buy from again
-
but pie is soooo good
lol, didnt even catch that
-
as long as they know its the effective cone area that matters
an 18 inch sub most likely doesnt have 18 inches of effective cone area, but as long as you dont take into account the mounting ring, then there isnt an issue when just using the size of the sub to do the calculations

just get some welding wire its cheap and great wire
flexible too
Where can you find welding wire for cheap? The cheapest welding cable i can find costs like as much as knu's kollossus fleks which if theyre the same you might as well go with knu for their c/s
i got mine from welding supply store here in the city for like 4-5$ a foot i dont remember
i'm sure there is a bunch of people here on smd know websites to get cheap welding cable but i do not
go to trystar.com or go on ebay and search for welding cable, find the one located in Minnesota i believe, the seller is coppercableman, that is trystars ebay account i believe, i bought my cable from coppercableman
its true welding cable, good stuff, pretty good on price, i bought 50ft for 153 bucks shipped, so about 3 bucks per ft, the more you buy im sure you will get a discount
you cna also choose what color you want and have whatever you want printed on the wire, for example my wire says "Noob at Work" on it a few times per ft
Could someone design a T-Line enclosure for me?
in Subwoofers / Enclosures

at the least i wouldnt argue with forevrbumpn about t-lines
i wonder if 94retta is thinking they function the same as a normal ported box, i dont know, but i always thought they played well at least a half wave down and half wave up, but i could be wrong, i know they have nice range, but i dont have tons of experience designing them
