ok i have a pioneer 4300 a sundown 100.4 and a sundown 3000d( didnt mess with this yet). well i hooked everything up and checked the unit and all was good. well i went to set the gain and once i started to turn up the gain i started getting crackling through my speakers as soon as i moved the dial. (subsonic down and both filters up) at that point i couldnt get a good signal through 3 of the channels. would distort at about 17 before i got the signal light or anything. ive been told possibly the board is now messed up, or to clean (the amp has been in the truck since early 2010. what else should i check? could the dd1 done anything to the board?

need blue kicker hyperflex 1/0 50ft roll. i just paid $140 shipped so im trying to get close to that price.
