slamming ranger!

I've heard both... The level 5 handles plenty of power, but it just didn't jump out at like the XL did. Both was switched out in same box on same amp. Only difference level 5 was at .5ohms and XL was at 1ohm on a Sundown3500. I thought the XL was louder and had a better sound. Thanks for all the feedback, im pretty sure on ordering the dc level 4xl..

Yeah ive been leanin towards the the dc level 4xl. Power wise im not sure yet, would like to run around 3k..would be a daily setup but like to go to usaci and mecca from time to time. ive been hearing about aq hdc3 aswell..but when i call dc audio they have always answered my questions.. DC audio has great products and customer service ,you will not be disappointed . my 4 12's were fairly loud off 2.5k. im assuming the xl wont be asloud, but close with the right power and box. I just want a good sub for the time being, im tired of having no beat. so boring...I have read the bass reponse is pretty good on the xl.

has anyone heard either one? or anyone have other opinion's on a sub i should go with or subs..

Finally rebuilding my truck, the 4 12's are long gone. looking to do a single 15" dc audio level 4xl or level 5. untill I save up for a campershell and do a full walk through. My question is what will i gain from the level 5 over the 4xl? big price diffrence from the xl to the 5, but alot of people really like the level 4xl's from what im reading. tuff descion, any info on either let me know..thanks will be in 2000 ford ranger with blowthrough...

I just called audio pulse and they told me tc sounds is back. and selling to the public. The price sheet is kinda high i think though. any one have any reviews on there subs??

what are some of the best looking box finishes I really like the glossy black finish look. not sure how to do that though? needs to be water proof or atleast resistant. anyone got any good ideas on a sick finishes??
