Agreed on that. they sound great, but DAMN on the weight. -
So this radio was given to me about five years ago, by my old babysitter (i was probably 10-11 at the time) in pretty rough shape. I haven't done anything to restore it, but for the heck of it, I typed it up online and looked at all the pictures annd prices of them in good condition. As you can see- one speaker is darker than the other, i had it setting on a shelf layin on it's back, and i had a bottle of gear lube sitting on the rack above it. I didn't know it, but it got knocked off, and landed on the speaker and poured onto the speaker. IT DOES STILL WORK!! So, i decided to take it all apart and scrub it up, and make 'er shine! Here's some pics: WHY i need new speakers? almost out out ues some TOTALLY AWEOSME! cleaner to clean this thing, and WOW! I was up til about 2 AM last night getting it back together... and damn. well worth the time. I was thinking kinda like a futuristic 1980's radio with all up to date speakers like pinoeer, MTX, maybe hifonics, who knows. don't have the cash to do it right now, and they still do work, Im just gonnalet it go until one blows out. I went thru all of the wiring last night (granted the fact i had a bunch of soldering to do) Tell me what you guys think! (

I had thought the same thing.... but, It's been runnning like this for about 5 months or so now... and no problems. I think it would magnetize the case, first. teh hard drive is farther away from the bottom of the case. -
Why bash dude. It clearly says Budget/Low end game machine. and there is nooooooooooooo way its one of the slowest GPU's. crysis warhead does not 'crawl' on the GPU. it plays roughly 35-40 frames on medium settings. thats GOOD for $45. Yeah, BF2 is an old game, but look, i don't really care. it reccomends a 6100 or 6600, something like that. Again, why bash. it clearly says Budget/Low end game machine. Edit: Ok, My bad, it's playing 1024x768 on minimum. 35 FPS.

A little story with it. this is how the case arrived in the mail, I left it like that for about 8 months, and wanted to mod it somehow. so, i stripped it completely down, and black'd out the frame! turned out pretty sweet. Final product.... with some extras I ran wires up front for a LED rocker switch for the cathodes... (If anyone wants a tutorial vid on helping with this... i'd be more than happy to help) Pops bought me a 22" HP widescreen, and luckily, i got my graphics card in a few weeks ago, so now im set. What? is that a 12" sub in a 3 cube box you see? yeah, sure is! sorry guys, i know i have a messy wire situation lol, im workin on it So, here's the specs.. AMD x2 BE-2300 550W Logisys P/S WiFi 2gb DDR2-800 RAM 250GB hard drive Nvidia GeForce 210 1GB video card CD-RW, and DVD-ROM drive So, I have about $400 or so into everything in the computer. It turned out really nice, this summer i'm going to do more little stuff like painting the drive bay covers, buy some blue cathodes instead of green, so it matches, or maybe some LED work, and a set of fans for the front. Tell me what ya think!

Just ran a lead of wire from the original sub box, over to the big toy. doesn't get much power, maybe 40 watts RMS, but, impedance matches both subs, so, why not? only gave $40 for the sub and box. I use to have a little 10" MTX thunder 8000, and even it pounded my room. Nah, there hasn't been any affects on the computer. nothing's loosened or anything, I'll post a thread of the computer over on the other topic, also. -
