  1. Seeing as they are tied in together, It becomes one, so when one is struggling a little thats when the "backup" power comes into play and helps take a load off of the main batt.

Lets put it this way, I think in some years the Impala SS had a v8 that only fired 4 cylinders under a light load but when you needed those extra ponies while you were trying to Race/Pass/Climb hills, All you had to do was stomp on the gas and feel the awesome muscle of that v8. Essentially two engines becoming "one" to get the load stabilized.

  2. Bomb ass day today. Went to the beach to ride bikes. Never seen so many women in Bikini's in my life. :) Pounded a couple of Coors and now my cousin is coming down with some meat to throw on the grill and some brews, FUCK YEAH. Be Jelous... \m/

  3. I know your going to build this system yourself but This is a company that might help you get some Ideas. I was involved in its inception and Paul Yaffe uses there saddle bag lids in a ton of his custom bikes. All of there systems are rated up to 90mph and still audible. Something else to keep in mind is that a motorcycle dosent have an alternator it has a stator and your max amperage is going to be less than 50amps

Thanks, I'm gonna take a look around that site tonight. Gonna add a battery tender to that list to keep it topped off.

  4. Alright guys one of my friends wants me to throw together a system for him in his Ninja 600.

He wants it to be run on his phone. Actually he wanted a satelite radio (is there a stand alone satelite radio system?) The thing is i have never ran on a phone/ipod/mp3 as a H/U. Would i need some sort of procesing system? I was thinking of throwing in a Clarion Eq. Just wanted to throw him a shopping list so he knows what to buy. So far i have..

    All KNU cables. Power, Rca's.

Eq of some sort - (throw some ideas)

Crescendo pwx's or Seleniums 6.5 or 8"s (whatever fits)

Some sort of pro audio tweets (nendo selenium dd?)

SD mini amps or that rockford 300 mini

$1000 budget on this. Wants loud and clear.
