btw i hear if you have another battery of the same type it may help increase chances of bring it back if you charge it with it but i don't know if it is parrallel or in series that you charge it

couple months...it's charging up now7v? How long has it been sitting for?
Try a couple charge/drain cycles
-
thats was before charging, it's on a charger nowdid you try charging it up? put on slow charge for few hours, if you tried that and it metered that still... go try buying either some distilled water and put in it IF its low, or better autozone and get some of that battery acid if its low... if not and it still meters that after u slow charge it..... lost cause
It's a sealed battery
-
Doesn't seem too low. Put it on a charger and keep checking it daily. Should be salvageable.
Hope so, only charger I have is a battery tender, think its this one

Completely forgot I put a D3400 under the hood of my Burban, witch I don't drive at all. And forgot too put a charger on it...
Went and pulled it and finally got home and metered it...... 6.98v
Been sitting for a while.. Is it a lost cause?

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll try a new kit. But I had the same problem in my tahoe and was told by my buddy who's been in the car audio field for a long time that's these dashes are not easy to line back up
-
What are you asking?
If you know of any good OEM replacement brands, stated in the title of my thread...
-
After I installed the 4300 the ac controls and the bottom controls don't line up perfectly, and trust me I tried for hours trying to line it back up, I had the same problems in my 2007 Tahoe (same dash)
It bothers the hell out of me, considering this is a 2012 I would like everything I upgrade to still remain some factory look
That's why I am looking into some OEM upgraded replacements
-
Not my double din, I know there are multiple brands that make OEM replacements that looks 100% stock and plug into all the stock plugs, no aftermarket harnesses. But have alot more features and also have front, rear and sub RCA outs

Something like this? Any better brands out there? I installed my pioneer 4300 in my 2012 Sierra but its does not line up perfect in the dash like I would like it too, also lost use of the USB in the center console. And the steering wheel controls don't always work.
