Big three for sure, email these companies and see if they can help you on a alt
Www.mechman.com
I'd do atleast two big batts in the rear also, like the XS XP3000 or the XS D3100

i would stick to a usb using a ipod with the ipod 30 pin dock connector. aux has always sounded worse in my opinion. and ive heard that when using the 30 pin dock connector to ipod/iphone that the signal is not amplified or "boosted"
just what ive heard. i may be wrong though.

For sure. That's how I do most of them.wonder if they could fab my dash trim for my ipad without having the truck there...
Not much to work with on a newer body Tahoe, just that small trim around the radio. What's the best way to message you to talk about this?, via email or FB?
-
your wiring options are .5 and 2 ohm, you can not wire to one ohm. i suggest wiring @ 2 ohms..

http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/137402-dc-power-quad-alternator-bracket/
Quad kit in the for sale section, this fits newer GM models with the 5.3 1999 1/2-2012
either a tahoe, suburban, denali, or yukon. the trucks with the 6.0 motor cant fit quads though

is it me or does anyone else not see anything wrong?
first picture, the black residue on the stock alt is coming off the belt. i asked if this was normal or not.
i just never noticed it before
-
noticed this when i was working under the hood of my Tahoe the other day, is this normal or a problem? the belt is the belt that DC Power provides with their dual alt bracket
the black residue is from the belt

My aqmp repair guy always asked me that questions when I was having amp issues...he said don't mix them...not sure if it matters that much I know copper is less resistent
