yea i wanna get a second alt for better at idle because thats my weakness
when im cruising and at full tilt it dosent go under 13.3-13.5
and when i stop and its turned down its back to 13.8
eventually i will have two d3400s up front and two d3100s in the rear and dual alts

im currently runnin 4 l7 15s with 4 crunch gpv 2000.1
i have a 300 amp iraggi alt
a xs D3400 up front along with a kinetic hc 800 i had laying around till i order my second D3400
and a D3100 in the back
big three done (1/0)
when at full tilt i stay above 13volts
but when i stop it drops pretty quick
can voltage drop harm my xs batts?
i plan on getting another D3100 and D3400 and possibly a second alt
but for the time being it drops pretty good
i jus wanna know if ill harm my batteries (or alt) with low voltage
but i an keep the volts up if i rev up or if im cruising

yeaa i switched em and made sure
its actually for a buudy of mine thats going to buy a xsD3400 for under his hood but i already have mine so we tried it on mine
ill just have to figure something out

i have a D3400 under my hood and i have a i bar 555 kit for it and i tried to put this knukonceptz battery terminal on the top post that came with the i bar 555

when i tightened it all the way it still came right off
what top post adapter do i need to get so this battery terminal will fit the battery?

well before i upgraded the software it worked fine on my ipod cord but with the new software when i plug it in its says error
its a iphone 3gs 32g
radio is alpine 9886

Max voltage you would want to see while charging is 14.9v.

both batteries are resting at 13.0 after being off the charger over night so there good to go

10am would be best. Depending on how low the batteries are the 2 amp could take you 6 months.
well the batteries are brand new never been installed just wanted to give em a over night charge first
but i had it hooked up on 10 amp mode and i put my stinger volt meter on it and while it was chargin it got in the 15 volt area but when i took it off it went back down to the 13 volt area
is it ok for the battery to be in the 15 volt area while it is on the charger?

i have a XSpower D3100 and a D3400
my battery charger has a 2 amp trickle charge and a 10 amp fast charge
should i use the 10 amp setting the get them fully charged?
i think i saw somewhere that 2 amp mode would take a very long time to fully charge a xs battery

I wanna do the same terminals as meades box
would I jus need something like quater inch stainless all thread through the box and a washer and nut to the box then the ring terminal for +/- then another box?
Will the wood cancel out and power or current?

i would not make em seperate i think would sound better in the same air space with one port and you can use box caculater at the top it will tell you what to do as far as port size

ive got some plans drawn out for a new box i want to build for 4 kicker l7 15s
its going in the back of a 1997 chevy suburban
the whole tuning and fifuring out how wide/long to make my port is really confusing me so im gunna post the dimensions and if someone can tell me how big to make my port i would greatly appreiciate it
i would like to have it around 32-35 hz
(outer dimensions)
20 inch high
49.5 inches long
47 inches wide
i want two seperate ports with a wall down the middle dividing them
jus need to know how wide to make them and how long

I would suggest looking at changing out the battery under the hood. You will be amazed at the difference that will make. The VCM will help you out and allow you to regulate the voltage output, but your batteries are whats letting you down right now.
yeaa i actually ordered me a D3100 last night to replace my lil kinetic hc800 and ill be puttin two D3400s up front then ill order the vcm

u need more battery i have the same burban and i can run 6k rms wit my stock alt and 2 walmart specials up front and 2 spv70 in the back and dont drop below 12.9. Where exactly is league tx at im in the BMT
yea i know ima bout to buy either two kinetic hc2400 or two xs D3100 to put in the back and that should be more then enough power
its about 30 to 45 min away from downtown houston in the clear lake area

i have been looking into the vcm and just want to make sure everything is going to work right before i plae an order

ive got one deep cycle battery for startin and a yellow top under the hood and a kinetic hc800 in the back(uprading to two kinetic hc2400s or the xsD3100)
my voltage drops pretty bad right now
im runnin 4 crunch gpv2000.1 and 4 l7 15s
ill be changin the amps out to two kicker zx2500.1 as soon as i get the money
if i install the VCM with what i have hooked up right now what would be the best setting for it?
