  1. hi, im looking for 4 XS d3100s. i've tried their website but they said that it would kill me in shipping if i was to order them from US to Canada. i was wondering if anyone knows a place in Canada, or if someone knows a place where i can buy them and there not too much. i think one of them is US 359.99 thats the cheapest i found them and thats from MECHMAN.

    Thanks

  2. i found the problem it was my ground it was run from my battery which i guess is a big no no, so i simply found a good body ground and it worked the problem is 95% gone only problem now is when i put the Jeep in Drive this weird baaaaaaaaa noise comes very lightly, its not the alternator because it doesn't get louder or anything, when i put it in park its gone so any ideas what might be causing this?

    thanks

  3. Its possible that you have the "Pico Fuse" problem with your Pioneer head unit since this started after you reran your cables. Should be able to just ground the outside of your rca connectors on your headunit. Google "Pioneer Pico Fuse" and you will probably find pictures on how it looks.

That things looks really complicated, the high pass and low pass can't fix this?

if its alternator whine, it's basically gonna b there regardless of the settings until the issue is fixed.. another thing to check is (i know u said u neatened ur wires but still) that ur rca's and ur power cable r touching as little as possible by the amps. my simple fix in the last car.. i pushed it over a little and bam!! no noise

I'll try that I guess but the monster 400 series are protected by a jacket which cancels the noise from wires touching eachother

  4. i just finished installing my new KICKER component sets with a brand new kicker IX amp and when i first started everything up it sounded AMAZING so clear and soo loud.

but then as we were finished neating up all the wires and decided to move the jeep outside as it was time to go home we heard this weird noise coming from the 2 speakers and the 2 tweeters installed. i thought it was nothing at first because it wasnt really too loud but as i started to drive it got louder. ive never had this problem before.

the way i installed my amp is:

positive from front battery to the amp with a 100 amp fuse

negative from front battery to the amp

    spliced remote wire

    and monster RCA 400 series

i don't know what the problem is only thing i can think of is it could be either negative wire should be grounded and brought back up to the amp or the remote wire? the speakers are all wired right

input in from amp then out to speakers, and tweeters

if anymore information is required please let me know or if you know what the problem might be and the gain is below half and the 0db-100db is set to 0 and also with the 50hz-250hz

    any suggestions will be appreciated

  5. i know theres no digital camera that can pick up bass perfectly but, there has to be a pretty decent one. the one i have right now is a Samsung ST60 it takes good pictures, but this thing just cuts out when the bass drops

the sound quality is: Mono and i've seen some that say stereo and monaural.

so what sound quality should the camera have in order for it to pick up some bass?

    Thanks

  6. im making my box design for my jeep jk and i want to know which port design gives the best result for hairtricks

i wanna tune the box to 30 herts and use 2 SMD 18s

here are some of the box dimensions and tuning i have came up with

    28x44x253004hz.jpg

i can get the box tuned to 30 hertz but the port area is not that big (this is with aero ports)

    Port15x10.jpg

this has a slot port and the port area is big but the tuning is a bit higher then i want

so let me know what u guys think and which will give the best results for hairtrick and the amplifier i got thats gonna power this is the Warhorse

    thank you
