Very clean install, waiting to see pictures of the new smds going in this

Hey Steve, Roscoe, Chode May I please get a UBL, my build log is 10 pages with comments and everything. heres my build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/120796-2-18s-in-jeep-wrangler-jk-w-kicker-amplifiers/ Thanks

I am happy with my warhorse, very efficient and never gets too hot to touch like my t4000 did.

hey bro i just saw ur post anyluck? i have a warhorse aswell and want to know how to set the gains on it

i have the KS650.2 powered by the ix500.4 and im satisfied, clear crisp sound

Does anyone know?

That would work perfect if the amp has an output, im not too sure if it does or not. the 6.5 subs are for midbass, and yes it has outputs on all amps not to sure about the warhorse that things still in the package

Midbass

like this

3 speakers in each door so thats 2 comps and 1 6.5 sub

hello, SMD Members i got a question about the RCA cables im confused on which rcas i have to connect to my amps, i know this might sound noob but this is the first time im connecting more them 2 amps i made a schematic of how it looks because describing it will be confusing and boring thanks for the help

another sick simple comparison

you cant run the warhorse 1 ohm stable it won't work it will keep going in protect

great vid answered a ton of questions need more comparisons like this, plain and simple XS FTW!!

wheres the vid lol

what car or trucks is it in?

DC Alternators are very nice, i personally own the 270 XP and it is controlled by the cars PCM, if u want a voltage regulator u have to tell kyle to do that before he sends it other wise you have to send it back to them if you go with the mechman u can get a external voltage regulator i think, i think i saw a video of it on youtube

nice wall i would make a cover piece over it to make it look like one that way it will look really neat

i would go for it killer lows prolly, never heard it but seems that way looking at the cone area

okay and how much do they cost? and do they have good midbass?

they sound good wont they give good midbass?

so i currently drive 2008 Jeep Wrangler and the speakers are mounted in the dash and in the upper sound bar i have 2 comp sets of KS kicker there pretty decent but sometimes they get drowned by 4,000 watts, im gonna be upgrading my system soon and i want to buy some good Mids/highs but no too expensive i got 2 pair of KS650.2 and a Kicker ix500.4 for $562.00 shipped to my front door which was worth it IMO but i need more treble so im looking for some suggestions ive been looking at the Dayton ND105-4 and they look amazing and it looks like i can fit 2 of them in the front door so 4 intotal in the front and 2 in the back (1 in eachdoor) http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=290-212 i can't really stick a 8" because i think thats gonna look ugly so let me know what you think this is how my doors look im planning on putting 2 at the bottom right corner where theres that diamond plate pattern and for the ones in my sound bar this is how it looks thanks for any suggestions

hey what was wrong with the guy in that green pick up it kept cutting out nice vids

i have 2 optimas up front and one xs d5100 in the back. works fine but im gonna switch out to all XS because the optimas sit at 12.6 while the xs always sits at 12.7 and its a smaller battery(d5100)
