  1. well he has new door panels for it in the box still, its a new headliner. dash is in good condition. new carpet. bucket seats. he has a rear seat bottom but the roll bar would make it though to install. but if i got it the roll bar would change so i can put the rear seat back it. also for the wheels, i think they look ok how it sits but i would eventually pro street the car and mini tub it with skinnies up front and a 10.5 or 12.5 tire in the read. probably 12.5 b/c i like big tire cars. if you didnt rear the posting its a 496 big block and it runs on pump gas (93) i asked him. it has power steering and manual brakes with disk up front and drum in the rear.

  3. take out the springs and cut it 1/4 in shorter. that will lower the front a 1/2 inch.. if you want more cut it 1/2 in shorter. it will lower 1 inch. 100% safe and the ride quality and weight rating of the springs stays the same. they are just shorter. set the coil on the ground standing up and measure from the ground to the top coil where it ends. make a mark where it is 1/4 or however much, and cut it there to make it that much shorter. just remember, how ever much you cut off it will lower the vehicle TWICE AS MUCH. foe example just to be clear... for every 1/2 inch you cut shorter it will lower 1 inch. the conversion stays the same for up to 2 or 3 inches cut off but that much is not recommended.

all in all, you make it your own custome height and the best part you spent a total of 0 dollars!! feel free to ask me more if you need. if i do not reply on here you can pm me anytime and i will get back to you quicker.

  4. contact someone like rusty from here. pm him. or go under the DC section and find the thread, meet team dc or meet dc reps or something like that. gives all the pm, email and phone numbers of all the dc reps from this site.

also if youve been reading in their section, they have been super busy and swamped with orders so they said they might not get to the phones...

  5. yea it could have been the remote wire smoking, not your amp. but the remote could have shorted to ground somewhere are fried the amp somehow that way... just a though. hook it up with a GOOD remote and see if it works.

  6. make sure the shop is putting the correct fluid in the trans first of all lol but really... and if thats not it, then they are building it wrong. even the smallest change can fuck everything up. like a check ball could be out of place or missing if they dropped it the first time and never new or bothered to replace it. or they are not checking all the valves and replacing springs or o-rings. so first check the fluid, look in your owners manual or on the trans dip stick for the specific type to use and either ask or check the color of the type it wants to whats in the trans... then if thats not it, ask for your money back and move on to a better shop...

  7. ok first off he said he has no power which means NO CRANK! has absolutely nothing to do with fuel or spark. obviously your batteries are good bc you charged them and they hold a charge. first check your wires to the starter. use your dmm and see if you get power at the started when someone else turns the key to try to crank. if you do have power make sure you have a good ground which you should bc its grounded to the block. then its your starter is bad. tap on it kind of lightly with a hammer and see if it will start to crank...

  8. yea well i love to learn new stuff and put it into my future work, its the only way to get better. im far from professional or even as good as most of the guys here but i would give a lot to work with some of you guys on these builds. it would be awesome to work with steve or anyone else that does work like him. there just isnt anywhere around me that does stuff like this. so i gotta learn on my own or with internet help. im always trying to get better and learn stuff, and criticism is the only way and i love it haha. thanks guys.

  9. yea that would be great. im always looking for suggestions and new stuff to try. you can pm me or post on here i dont care. but that would be great. also, they have to be cheap ideas haha the guy doesnt like to spend a lot... but i also think he was happy because he went all over the place and everyone told him it wasnt possible and they wouldnt even try so when i was up for it and actually did it, he was happy. thanks and i look forward to ideas...

  10. yea, this is just a side job that me and a friend run out of my garage. we do some really nice work for what we have and the experience we have. i personally dont really like how they look because they do look just placed there. but he wants to try to fiberglass them in so hopefully over the summer or when its warmer out i will have time to give it a shot. ive never done fiberglass before. but if anyone is in the chicago land area im in the west burbs and charge about half what anywhere else does. and you can see our facebook page with pictures of other cars we have done. our faxebook is Jam Customs. if you search that you will see a camaro with jam customs written in it and thats us. thanks for the comments guys i really appreciate it.
