  1. I dont expect to have any professional answers. I want personal stories of when they had something happen like this and what actions were taken. And what results came about. Lawyers cost real money and the fact that they don't want to help half the time is the problem.

I just push in the right direction as I'm not the one who is able to contact the lawyer. I'm basically the shoulder for my mom to lean on and im just trying to give her the right advice. I figured there was some way of taking the executor to court over wrong doings, just wanted to be sure before I tell her anything.

  2. Okay so here goes nothing. I need y'alls help. Legal advice.

My mother is fighting her sister right now for her father's trust. When he passed away, her sister took over as executor of the trust. Needless to say she has become a greedy bitch. She has failed to follow the terms and kept the money and she's trying to sell the estate involved in the trust.

The thing is, she hasn't distributed any money and she's kept it all. So onto my questions..

Can my mother press any charges towards her sister for not following the terms of the trust?

Can there be any legal action against the "trust" company for not monitoring the trust and letting the bitch have s free for all on it?

I have more questions but Im at a loss right now.

If in the wrong section please move or let me know. Any help or advice on wills or trusts is helpful!

    Thanks again, John.

  3. Stoners glass cleaner is the shit. It is streak free. It's real nice because its tint safe which is a major plus. I've never personally used the news paper trick, but I know people who preach about it. I like using a dry microfiber cloth and my windows never streak, unless you use a damp or soaked cloth. A good product to use on dirty floors, or seats covered in grease/heavy dirt is purple power. It comes in a concentrate from walmart, and its my favorite thing to use on everything to clean. Everything I have mentioned can be picked up at Walmart. You can get the stoner glass cleaner at Major chain auto parts stores too. I'd stick with the spray bomb type, as it foams and works better, imo.

One other thing I found pretty cool was a sponge/squeege at walmart, which has a built in sprayer, and the handle is filled with glass cleaner. Neat idea if you ask me. I bought one, as I don't have a wiper fluid bottle anymore..

  4. Okay, here goes nothing. I couldn't find much info on the recommended box specs for AQ SDC2.5 12's and I'm working on designing/building a box for my buddies truck. The subs will be 2 12s and on an AQ1200d. Looking to go ported, probably tuned to 35hz. Equipment choice is final as he already has it all ordered. Just need help with how much sq in of port and recommended box size. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  5. Yeah now that you mention it...they didn't even want to help this other guy that came in right before they closed...and that IS odd how they didn't want to sell me a head unit...

The receipt says "No refunds, exchanges only" And then "30% restocking fee for exchanges"

Well, looks like you aren't returning your stuff. The ratings on the amp are

    (RMS Continuous Power) 125 Watts x 2 @ 4-Ohms

    250 Watts x 2 @ 2-Ohms

    500 Watts x 1 @ 4-Ohms Bridged

which yours is bridged so thats good. I'd definitely check the specs on the box and see if they're in par with the manufacture specs. If not, build a better box, or have on made and you'll be good then. The amp is great, everyone loves RF. They're a bit pricey but that's quality. As for JL, here, not to many people like them. They are OVERPRICED, but you gotta live with it now. In case you don't know this yet, don't go back to them. Advise any friends and such to avoid them, and learn from your mistakes. The install could have been much worse..

Edit: Just ask here for advice if you decide to get a new HU and you'll get the help you deserve.

  6. A much better set up could be had for the money. You're running a just looks sub and an overpriced amp.. never trust local shops. They always rip people off.. If you're happy keep it but if he told me I couldn't demo anything or get my money back, I'd have walked out. Plus they should have stayed open just for you, to get a new head unit but they're too greedy and unwilling to help. That's what it sounds like to me.

  7. Is this an original engine? A true 67 440? If so, you really lucked up. After 1971 they (Mopar) detuned them, dropping the compression down to almost 8.5 to 1. That's good for a motor home, which a lot of 440's went into after that, but horrible for a moderate street beast. Really, All you need to make the motor scream is a compression ratio of 10.0-10.5:1 This can be achieved a easy number of ways without sacrificing drivibility or having to burn race gas. Just invest in some good forged pistons and a good cam. Top that off with a good carb, and you shall be surprised. For a carb, I'd say 800-850 cfm, vacuum secondaries for fuel mileage. As for a cam, some searcing shows that moderate duration at .50 lift, (238-244) is recommended. Also, closed chamber 915 heads can also bump compression up, but you already have heads.

I see you have a 750, you might want to possibly exchange that out, as these big beasts require a lot of air. What rpm do you plan to keep it under?

Also, becareful if you have to over bore it any more.. I don't know the maximum bore of a mopar, but I do know that on a Chevrolet 60 thousandths is pushing it for a stock motor. Just call a machine shop and ask around, before dropping too much money on that motor and finding out you have to get a new block.
