Maybe you could use a razor on certain parts and if you scuff, or scratch them, you could always repaint them.. just a thought.

I'd laugh hard if he was actually right. It wouldn't effect me so I could laugh hard.. lol.

Resin it's self is not strong. You need to glass and resin if you want strength. Your best bet would be to do the whole thing with fglass and make it look good. Hell, you could custom mount a few tvs or speaker/tweets if you wanted.. possibilities are endless.

Kumho says you're welcome! lol Just kidding. I'm glad you and your rim are okay.. Good thing your beads stayed on and protected the tire..
-
Yay!! I'm like a kid in a candy store when I order stuff off the internet.. Whens the ETA? Btw, what rims do you have on your truck now?
-
They seem promising.. Thanks to you now I'm looking for better brakes for my truck.. (dreaming) and I did a few searches and a few truck mags installed them, but never said anything about the real stopping upgrades. SSBC also carries a line of OE replacement sized, cross drilled and slotted rotors, which you can add to the kit for like $200. But, you can check out summit and pick up slotted and drilled rotors for like $55 a pop.. not too bad.
As for about upgrading to bigger rotors, try emailing SSBC and see what they say.. If you do invest in these, do a stock 60-0 test, and then upgraded. Like Steve did with his Wilwoods. Then you will be certain of how much performance you gained.
I SAY DO IIIIT!! lol Just think of the thrill you'll have dropping some dough on stopping power lol.

its disc drum. Ive thought about just doing an upgraded pad and rotor but You know how it is stopping a full size chevy. This thing has to hit a wall to stop. I want the additional clamping power. Oh and they look cool poking out from behidn the wheels. If I do the tri force caliprs in this kit I can do rotors and brake lines for around 1500 or so. the baer kit is alot more than that for the whole package and I have to do it all in one shot. this i can piece together .
Wastehog. Eventually Ill have disc in the back as well depends on how this goes.
Haha, yeah they don't like to stop. Try working with one that has 25 year old technology.. its worse, lol. I was gonna suggest, maybe doing rear disc, which would help a little bit, but not as much as a big brake kit.
One option you have, which is a lot of work.. is run big brakes in the summer and stockers w/ upgrades in the winter, but then again, a lot of money and work to swap em' out every 6ish months.
Heres another idea.. Lets say later on you do get a big brake kit.. you could always invest in some cheapo 20"+ rims and ruin those in the winter..
Gotta love living in Northeastern United States.. we get the joys of all the snow and ice and salt.

You could look into EBC for upgraded stock replacement. As to the caliper, I have no input. I have yet to use EBC but they seem pretty good. Next brake change I do, I'm going to look into them more. That's just an idea for pad/rotors.
Is your truck disc in all 4 corners or is it disc/drum?

We're all glad you're man enough to admit you were wrong. We all do stupid stuff when were mad.. its all good.
By the way, glad you got it figured out. Post pics of the recone!!

what the fuck do you mean by "then come bitch" and im about to hold your fucking horses
Translation: Quit bitching until you know if it works or not. If it does, you bitched unnecessarily if it doesn't then come back and bitch about it.. Your going to hold his fucking horses? lol.. I don't think I'd mess with a fucking horse..

Any good wax will do. You don't have to worry about hurting the chrome, if the wax is made for automotive paint, then your safe to use it on chrome. I've used turtle wax for years and it does it's job of keeping the bumpers and such clean.

It might be that your connections on the window motors are corroded or bad. The newer motors would use more current, because they use more power, because they are newer. A good reason why they use a lot of power is because the power wires are small, so they don't go up fast. I know the ones in my truck are like 14 ga wire for a decent powered motor.. which is kinda small but they work so.. that's all that matters.

Well the board is not THAT bad and the cloth is ok. I figured i would go ahead and see if i could salvage it.
Good idea.. I mean, what more do you have to lose. If all else fails, you wasted a lil bit of time and some money on glue.. if it works then if it doesn't then... lol.
By the way if you need new cloth, stockinteriors.com has the cloth, iirc.

You can use window cleaner like windex on the chrome to clean the bugs off, then hit it with a good car wax. Let it haze, and polish it off. If they get a lil surface rust on the later on down the road, don't be afraid of the coke technique, it works good on surface rust. For cleaning, Windex, and then wax. Damn good shine. If not get some chrome polish..

If you get any type of battery get an AGM battery. Don't get the typical flooded type thats used in cars, get the AGM and if your strapped for cash, look for an optima, they can usually be found pretty cheap used, or they go for like $175-200 at my local Advance Auto.. there's a lot of other batteries tho...

Yeah, he mentions his acting and getting paid 100k a week was his high on life. His mama taught him to look out for the drugs and ish. He said the gig was only supposed to be a guest appearance but the scenes he wasn't in screamed his name. He also wrote 2 of the shows, and they ended up being the top of their year, for that year.. fun facts if you didn't watch his interview.. lol.

Take a plane to Ohio, Florida or Sacramento, you´ll get a few good demos !!
x2 Grow a pair, buy a plane ticket and you'll hear a few damn good systems. Cali would be your best bet, but if you wanna drive hit up Florida or Later on Delaware and Meet up with Trippi with the 6 18's hummer, in case you didn't know.

I'd also say the junk yard, or get crafty and make your own fiberglass one. You know most of us love a good project

There's a link to an interview done on Jaleel White, 12 years after playing Urkel in Family Matters. I was surprised to see he changed and doesn't have his glasses anymore..

Apple makes yet again, more bank. Look at the Ipad sales. I would like to have one, an Iphone that is, but I won't. They finally release after the escapade in the bar.

If you do use bolts, use a double nut on the outside. Then you can have one nut hold the ring terminal and the other holds the bolt in, so then you don't have to remove the subs to tighten the bolts.
Trunk cars, i need your help!

I'm not going to vote because I have the same question.. I like the idea of Port thru deck, but as to sub up or back is the question.. Port thru deck seals it to the cabin, I think..
