I just heard a Ground Zero Plutonium 18" on two Audiopipe 3k's strapped with a 20 hertz box tuning, low end was good, but other than that everything in the mid range totally fell off hardcore, whats peoples reasoning for tuning this low, my BTL on 2k rms had a louder low 30s to high 30s range than this vehicle did.

So I've been dating this girl for about two years now and things were going great. however about 2 weeks ago i started noticing that we get into fights all the time...ALL THE TIME!
nothing too major but just exhausting you know? anyway it makes me not even want a relationship anymore, and i feel depressed all the time, ive even considered going to the Drs. for it. anyway i guess what im asking from you guys is, is there a best way to break up with this girl without having to stop being friends and all that? i know its near an impossible task but i thought id try and find out. any help would be great. sorry for the latenight rant....If shes a civil adult you have nothing to worry about not being friends, if she goes crazy and is like zomg, screw you, never speak to me again then shes immature as hell

Back your gains off, most amps put out max power with the gain only partially up, gain isnt volume or more bass knob

Shit, do what I do, deliver pizza, sounds like a asstastic job but hell I average 20-35$ a hour dependant on tips, plus you get to drive around all day, beat up the block and smoke cigs whenever you want, whos complaining on that.

I already have the amp. I'm running a JL Audio J2 1000.1 amp which is rated at 1000X1 RMS @ 1 ohm. So I need subs that will work well at that power range. I'm not opposed to buying another 1000.1 amp if need be in the future, but for now that's what I have.
So whats up with SA? I've never heard of them either. I'm old school I guess. I know about JL, Kicker, Rockford, Memphis, Audibahn, Orion and so on.... LOL
1000w rms is perfect for a Sundown SA series and youll prolly pay less than the DC

This isn't a tough call at all.... get the DC, you wont be disappointed, or get one the Sundown SA series, theyre cheap and you can overpower the crap out of them.

I did a single sa-15 in 3.2 cubes with 48 inchs of port area at 34 hertz on 1200w rms, sounded really nice.

My buddy is going to be running 1 Sundown SA-15" off of a 1000w RMS Pioneer amp with Optima Yellow Top under the hood and big 3 in 1/0, How many cubic ft. port area and tuning would you recommend?

Get a Sundown SA-10 and call it a day, you definately wont be disappointed, and its in your price range.

My BTL 18" is in 7.5 cubes at 35 htz on 2.2k, sounds amazing musically, I listen to mostly Decaf songs, all sound really good.

if its just on certains songs just leave it until you order your alt , or you can just replace the optima with a bigger agm underhood that should help
Well sometimes on certain songs I'll be totally fine but on other days on that same song my voltage will drop like crazy, is my stock alt maybe starting to take a shit on me?

I've only had the Yellowtop in the car for about 5 months or so, maybe a lil less and the other batts been sitting in the basement since then, but they're off the ground, not just sitting on concrete.

It definitely wouldn't hurt, unless it was a wet cell that would fill your cabin with fumes. Nooo good! only true way I can see it killing your alt is if the battery had a bad cell.
Yea, just checked, both extra batteries I have sitting in the basement are both wet cells =/. Could I maybe stick the wet cell under the hood and the optima in the back, or bad idea?

1. Make sure it doesn't expel fumes, that would be dangerous to your health
2. I would recommend also doing big 3 to just smooth things out a little more.
I ran 2 batts in the rear with a stock alt on my current amp and I was fine. Had to charge It up every so often but it worked alright
I have the Big-3 already done but with my current amp at 2 ohms I still get some drop on certain songs, was just wondering if it'd be a smart idea to toss my other batt in to be safe.

I have a 99' Explorer Sport and I was wondering if it'd be a bad idea to stick a battery in the back if I only have the stock alt, I currently have a Yellowtop under the hood and my voltage is still meh. I know it'd be smart to just get a H/O alt, but I already have another battery sitting in my basement and it'd only cost me the price of buying a in-line fuse to put it in. Would I have charging issues with the stock alt or would I be fine?

Any sub can be overpowered if you got the electrical to back your amps and your running clean power. try lvl 4 xl's or the new btl n2's

Dunno, for the most part it sounded like shit, the box was like 6 inchs from the ceiling with the sub and port firing up in a 01' 2 door blazer, zero sound deadener, mids and highs without an amplifier just sounded like crap, plus his box was 4 cubes for a 18" and he said he needs to shrink it atleast a cube and a half more which really doesnt make sense to me, I'm not an audio expert by any means but I wouldn't toss an 18" into 2.5 cubes anyday.
