i agree 100% with ya on rims. chrome looks nice anyways. im not a big fan of colored rims except for black or chrome.

heres my shot at a darker color im sorta liking it but i cant get the colors i want to match up...... so theres not much of a shine
steve already made his mind up but im still switching colors i did however make a beautiful blue. but blue was frowned upon lol

currently i have 2 RF P3's and i plan on buying a RF p1000.1bd amp and running these woofers at 1 ohm, i will get the amp for $450 before tax. so this makes me wonder, what else can i get that that is around 1000w and performs flawlessly like the RF? and what about shelling out the extra cash for a RF Power amp? this stuff confuses me on the naming and whatnot. i just wana know my options from you guys who already know these waters. budget wis id prefer to spend around if not less than $450 before tax
-
yea speed fan can control it, MOST of the time ASUS will bundle some software with there boards that will allow you to control it. as newis stated check you bios. if you cannot control the speed in there chances are the option is not available on the board. then you will want to get a fan controler

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...pk=ultra%20kaze
with those you will never have to worry about heat. and those apevia's suck something fierce. continues use you will be lucky if you get 6 months out of those fans and maybe 3 months from the LED's
EDIT: Fail on my part for thinking it had LEDs, just UV reactive plastic, but i still recommend those Sythe Ultra Kazes. I normally have a pair cooling my water radiator on my PC but during the winter i switch em out cuz it gets to cold to sit next to the case without bundling up....and im not bundling up in heated house

37inch Bravia, meh it does the job and i love the 1080 realestate but i miss anything resembling a decent contrast ratio..... it was either buy some new P3's or buy 3 21" LCDs ....the P3's won

with that CPU: AMD Athlon™ X2 6000+ theres no reason you should have to change the fan speed. those are super cool running chips
-
just curious as to what your motherboard chipset is?
-
for all intensive purposes you cant run VGA to HDMI no matter how you run it.
-
click on start>run>dxdiag then go to display tab. Stop screens are windows level which usually means its a driver. if i were you i would update ALL of my drivers before flashing the BIOS. off brand Motherboards produce weird errors that make a tech scratch and wonder "how the hell"
EDIT: just wondering is it only youtube? does this happen when you open video files from any other place? are you using an onboard GPU or a physical card?

WOW another Grand Prix owner. i wonder what type of numbers ill get with my setup, those are some Crazy 10's

Its real simple your amp puts out 1k rms at 1 ohm...2 dvc 4 woofers and you want to wire them at 1 ohm. Wire the positives tgether and all the negatives.
I dont know how to put up pictures but go to rockfords site and go to the wiring wizard under support. Select 2 woofers then 2x4 for 2 woofers that are 4ohms. then hit the find button. Will be the first diagram showing a 1 ohm load.
wow, thanks man!
-
You have 2 sub with D4 coils right? That means you can wire them to 1ohm, and get the most out of the RF P1000-1bd which does 1000rms@1ohm.
yea there both dual 4ohm coils, how would i go about wiring them?
-
So im using an old PT amp right now and originally i planned on buying the Rockford Fosgate T1000bd amp, i just realized at 4ohms the RMS will only be 250W, the RMS of the woofers i have are 500W a piece. so what should i buy? an Alpine? a Rockfrod Fosgate?
this is my enclosure
any help is appreciated
EDIT: i found this.
Option 1 (parallel) = 2 ohm load
Voice coils wired in parallel
Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 2 or 1 ohm mono
One 4 ohm DVC Speaker = 2 ohm load
Option 2 (series) = 8 ohm load
Voice coils wired in series
Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 4, 2, or 1 ohm mono
One 4 ohm DVC Speaker = 8 ohm load
so i can indeed wire the 2 woofers down to a 2ohm load and push 500W RMS to them?
