you need to charge any batt 2v above. 12v batts charge at 14.4 16v charge up to 18.5. depends on the batt

you can do it with 1 alty and have both 16v and 12v

16v is not that hard. u just need: 16v batts 12v batt to run ur electrical 16v alty or external voltage regulator or a step up/or step down 12v batt to run ur electrical thats all
