  1. Haha I did the same. Mine's 240 @ 8 ohms, but I was like "fuck it" and threw my other shelf speakers on it for a 4 ohm load. It kills the lows even without a sub.

Yeah, mine hits lows really hard too with the sub off. I have a 12" kicker cvr in a ported box tuned to ~32hz and it sounds amazing. It's not the cleanest but it's not sloppy at all. The sub is only for when I'm in the mood so idc..lol.

  2. Sony makes solid home stereo equipment. That looks perfect for what you're trying to do. Sony's considered "entry-level" as far as car audio goes, but their home audio stuff is good shit. Grab it.

thanks for the input. I have a "shelf system" in my room. It's rated at like 120wrms at 8 ohms. I have my 4 drivers wired in parallel so the final load is 4 ohms. I don't have any problems. The receiver stays ice cold

  3. My B. :D

It's Extended, and it'd b really for the subs amps, speakers.

The total is just under $900 and the system should be decent on a stock electrical system (with an exception of the Big 3 and a battery)

  4. my alt is going to be a 300 amp, the amp will be running about 3100-3300 watts at 1 ohm, 4 channel at about 60 watts per channel. Also the battery is in the back on the magnum(dont know if that makes a difference or not). i would call nathan but dont want to do that until i am ready to buy(dont want to bother him) just figured if he was on here he would answer when he got around to it.

It sounds good to me! What do you have upfront battery-wise? You should look into a D3400 if you have the money

  5. ok thanks for that fast reply because i'm looking to oreder all my stuff right now from darvex and i wanted to know and also what size fuse for a jl audio 1000/1 1000rms and a 450/4 450rms thats a total of 1450rms thanks

The fuse of the cable should be how much current the wires can run. There's a chart somewhere on the site. I think the electrical section (it's a sticky)

  6. Thanks for that, but I guess I wasn't clear enough with what I wanted.

Like, on the PSU, I know there are multiple wires, most of which I don't use, I need to know which wires to use, and then I would like to have a diagram with fuses and stuff drawn in.

Again, thanks for trying anyway, that is technically what I asked for

You need to use the +12 volt rail (yellow) and the ground (black).

In order to turn on the PSU, you need to connect the only green wire with a ground (black wire).

I'll edit the diagram tomorrow morning. Do you also want all the speakers and RCAs drawn in? I can't do the sub because I don't know if you have in wired in series or parallel
