I've heard that lvl 5s don't do well in 4th orders but you might wanna pm owners1 he'd know I think his was a 4th order iirr don't take my word for it tho
I think owners1 has a 6th order bandpass iirc. but he switched to the crossfires for 4" coil and better suited softparts.
Edit: and the xls are awesome!

does it have a factory subwoofer?
yes, they are under the front seats
Should have 5 1/4 or 6.5 bass in the rear deck no? High low converter to that?
just some 4 inch speakers that are high passed in the rear deck.
there are 4 full range outputs behind the radio hi level
these 4 outputs drive the front doors and rear door mids
the center, factory subs under the front seats, and rear deck speakers are all ran off the factory amp.
you need to put a hi-low adapter behind the radio up front.
all other signals are x-over
thanks ray, happen to know what colors i should tag off when i pull the radio??

ok so ive done a ton of research and found out where the ignition wire is...
but i still need to figure out proper sub signal if anyone could help me out!
OH, and it does have the logic 7 system if that makes a difference

def keeping the stock radio and factory amp.

My good friend just bought a 2005 bmw 545i. we are trying to install his 3 12s and amp. power and ground connections were very simple with the battery in the trunk, but getting signal and ignition seems to be a problem. id like to keep all the wires in the trunk. i know the factory amp is on the drivers side in the trunk and have found a thread that lists what wires left and right are. but it seems like the signal fades in and out. so my question is, does anyone know what are the correct wires to get a sub signal from? and is there ignition in the trunk? and if so where? i have tried tagging signal with a loc from the 4" speaker in the rear deck only to find out that that channel is high passed and has little to no low freq passing through that channel. any suggestions or PICTURES would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Brandon

I would go with DDM tuning, I have bought all my HIDs from them no problem. They are cheap and have a lifetime warranty and great customer service

Bought 35 feet of shok 1/0 wire and 10 ring terminals from him. I told him that i was interested in the wire but wasnt going to be ready to buy til the 25th. (i told him this on the 20th) i offered to put down a deposit to hold the wire but he said no and that he considered me a serious buyer and that he would hold it for me! So i paid him on the 24th or 25th (cant remember which) and he confirmed the payment and shipped it out the next morning and provided me with a tracking number that said it would be here on the 30th. The package showed up safe and sound with exactly what i wanted. I would surely do business with Braxton again!
Thanks for everything man!

sweet!

lol yup...
you also need to make sure your coils will allow you to wire it to 1 ohm. you need either single 1 ohm coil, dual 2 or dual .5...or i suppose even quad .25 or quad 4 lol

Nice job that thing looks violent.
All these Sundown subs getting nothing but mad love makes it so hard to choose which one to get. lol
cant go wrong with any of the sundown lines of woofers, or amps
this thread makes me want me to reconsider the subs on my next build
Not me, but oh well.
no love for the sundowns?
